Actually I would probably go:

1-4 - Man U, Man C, Arsenal, Chelsea - European Elite

6-8 - Liverpool, Spurs, Everton, Newcastle - Not up there with the big 4, although can beat them on their day, but different level to rest of the Prem.

9-13 - Southampton, Swansea, West Brom, Villa, West Ham - Enough quality to be a top half side and possibly break the top 8 (Southampton) but if struggling with injuries could easily be involved in the relegation scrap (West Ham). When everyone is fit they definitely have a lot more quality than the championship.

14-20 - Stoke, Fulham, Cardiff, Hull, Norwich, Sunderland, Palace.
All in a relegation scrap and should any of these 8 teams get relegated would be no certainys to get promoted straight back from the Championship.

For me Liverpool and Spurs are european quality.

Maybe not european elite but certainly european standard. They have plenty of world class players.

i dont think they really do have plenty, liverpool have suarez, coutiniho, poss sturridge although hes yet to do a season of it. gerrard is on the decline,

And spurs, have sold there class... bale, modric, van der var vart.

Both can raise there games for a euro night but cant do it consistantly for me

Id agree with that. 4 leagues. Anyone can give anyone a game but the consistancies due to actual class players are what sets each league apart.

4th is up for grabs for sure with united struggling to adapt to life without fergie.

Everton do not have the squad for Champions League tho.
