He's a clown.

Idiotic comments I am surprised he has got off with it after saying that.

Cmon fella that was more than "dubious" it was a stone wall penalty!!!

Doesn't appear any consistency in penalty awards for handball. I believe the letter of the law states that it must be "hand to ball" which I interpret as moving your hand towards the ball. If that is the case, how was that a stone wall penalty. Don't dispute that the ball made contact with Davies' hand (and probably prevented a goal) but that doesn't make it a penalty. Also, there are often comments about "arms being in an unnatural position". If that's the case, then surely defenders who clasp their arms behind their backs are defeating the object of the exercise as, should their arms come into contact with the ball, they could be deemed to be in an unnatural position. Confusing!

Shelvey is reported to have actually said:

"That's what you think. Nowadays you can't do anything.
"I was trying to move to get out of the way. That's life at the end of the day."

He won't face disciplinary action, so the FA don't think it's a red card and has been our best player by a long way since the international break. 4 great performances against Fulham, Valencia, Man. City and Newcastle, scoring the winner as a substitute in the first and being our best player in the last 3.

Any comments regarding the derby - yawn. You beat us, well done. Blah blah.

Pardew says they should have had 2 penalties. The handball appeal on Ben was 50/50 and you've seen them given. He didn't move his arm to the ball though, like Pardew said. It was ball to hand.

The other one where he says Ash was fouling their player, that happens all the time in every game. No chance that's a penalty.

We've had some truly awful decisions go against us so it was about time we had something go for us.

As I said, a superb win against one of the most in form sides in the league.

What a great team you are. And a capital city as well. Can't really understand why you haven't been in the Premier League sooner..........or why you're still 4 points and 4 places below us. Perhaps you can explain?

OK, come on then. An honest answer - do you think the current Cardiff team is better than the current Swansea team? A simple "yes" or "no" answer, please

Honest answer? Player for player, you have a more talented squad. However, that doesn't win you games - as we demonstrated to you not so long ago.

I think the Europa will harm you this season & in all honesty - Newcastle home was an outstanding performance. However, that's not been the norm for Swansea for a while now.

Can't really argue with most of that. We haven't yet hit the heights of last year, apart from a couple of decent 45 minutes. Great all round performance against Newcastle, so hoping that continues on Monday. Can't dispute the fact that we were absolutely crap at your place. I can take losing if we play well, but that was embarrassing. Have suffered more injuries this year, possibly as a result of Europe. Hope we get through the group stages next Thursday, but would settle for elimination after the first knockout round.

Im sure there are some on here who watched the game on bt sport.
And wont admit off course but watched us play at our best again.
Yes this season so far we have been struggling to find our form and settle down.
Yet unlike you as fans we dont panic and slag our manager and team off.
As for the hand ball?did stoke not score a perfectly good goal in the week.

Nope the scorer was definitley offside. The cameras showed that.

Also your fans have been slagging off your team. I've heard enough to say your fans are fickle.

You had a good result the other night although with the help of the ref. However the only reason you are above us is because you have had a favourable draw so far. Most of your points have come against the teams who are going to be in that relegation battle. Such teams as Palace, Sunderland and Fulham. We have yet to play most of those.

Anyway back to the original subject and that is Shelvey. A bit of an idiot isn't he. Really embarrassed your lot after the derby game.

No - I watched Cardiff City. I'm pretty sure everyone else did though. It's a bit hypocritical from you though, weren't you watching coverage of our games looking for an empty seat? :laughing5: :laughing5: :laughing5:

We are above u because we are better.
And dont go down the rd off help from the refs as we get little as when we played stoke showed.
As for stoke goal? I aint seen it but read a post by nukes about the game! And one reply by a cardiff fan said it was a goal?.
So im just going on what your own fans are saying.
Ps a hard run of games u have had, but have u not forgot our start?
Pps yes there has been sone discussion about why we are poor so far, however how many commens have u seen asking for ml to be sacked?
You are punching above your weight so far and that is down to mm and playing a system that makes u hard to beat.
Yet after a good draw away still there are some asking for him to be sacked ffs.
You are the joke fans not us.
