I think Malky is far more flexible in his approach thanJones but I accept a lot if what you say - Jones was largely a success at Cardiff on relatively small (by Malky standards) bydgets certainly. I don't get the venom either.

Probably not leaving us for WBA in Autumn 2006 when his stock was at it's highest here. He probably would have gone up with them and his career may have gone down a different path.

Instead he virtually keeps Cardiff in business with his success whilst selling top players and gets nothing but abuse from a vocal section of our support.

agree............at the time..the vocal section as you call them,would have you believe he had this huge budget.............he got slaughtered for having loan players?........what manager wants a bunch of people in the main unwanted and stagnating at their parent club over real signings...he was in my eyes a victim of his own success.....

So many despite an early glorious rule. The treatment of Adam Mathews, uninspirational, treatment of fans, lack of plan B and his biggest downfall. Not starting Aaron Ramsey in a game which could have changed his career a lot earlier than it has taken. Ramsey scores, confidence soars, City win the FA Cup. Had we won that game I believe we'd have won promotion the following year as the squad would have been so much more up for it!

Anyone spouting about sizeable budgets is a buffoon as he never got one, his final budget was large for wages and that's it he had no transfer money so brought in players on big wages who simply didn't have the heart for a fight that's the onto thing I can fault him on but in fairness if you can't buy them then you hav to loan them and you are left with premier league outcasts and you have no clue whether they will perform or not and sadly they didn't live up to the bill

not 10mill..........just able to bring in a striker the quality of FC in the january window............he got 100k..we got john parkin.......our crowds rose..our season ticket sales increased from uner 3 to over 17 thousand, because we became worth watching......the players he brought in were under achievers. . talented but flawed.. they mostly left and still are under achievers......he got more out of them than anyone else has......and anyone who came off..well we sold them.
