For the short amount of time I was on the FB group there were a few banners on display Tan Out Etc...

Have you been banned from the FB or are you still allowed to post?

I'm still able to post, but every time I suggest that it should concentrate on bringing blue back, I'm shouted down at by members telling me how I should want Tan Out if I don't want to be Cardiff Dragons etc and I can't want blue back without wanting Tan out too.

As it goes, I'd prefer Tan to leave, but I cannot back a Tan Out campaign that doesn't have any sort of plan should he leave CCFC high and dry.

As you know, I don't go on the Facebook page but are the people "shouting you down" members? or is that the official line from the key people running BU?

Jon Candy was clear on here last week that they take a liberal attitude towards censorship on that page and will only remove posts if they are of an illegal or racist/abusive nature (for example).

Members Phil, not key people running BU - but it makes my point clear.

I asked a question about what would BUs plan be, should they run tan out, or what if he sells to someone who wants us to remain in red? All I got back was:

"How would you feel about Cardiff Dragons?"

"Would you just lay back if it was a family member?"

Hardly welcoming & certainly not the sort of posts that will help get the masses on board.

I wish they would get rid of the page.

i appriciate what BU are trying to do for fans and the club but its all the complete wrong way to go, you are telling people what to do, instead of seeing what the majority of fans want (sound familiar?)

Alex, so with respect, the comments aimed at you are no different to the sort of stuff that frequently gets posted on messageboards. The BU Facebook page is just a vehicle for debate in the same way that football clubs, on line broadcasters etc also have forums. Forums where the various posters views are in no way indicative of the official line of those institutions.

Ideally, the BU Facebook page should remain and continue to be a platform for discussion and debate. Unfortunately, too many people seem entirely unable to make the distinction between what is being discussed and the official BU line on things. Sadly, with that in mind, I think the best solution for BU - an organisation that have got far more right than they've got wrong, imo - will be to disable the comments section on the Facebook page and just use it for official BU statements.

100% with you on your posts on this thread Alex, and I know you really hate saying what you are but what you have said is spot on, I've mentioned this before if anyone can come up with a plan to remove tan and keep Cardiff city running on a day to day basis then great! Unfortunately when u ask these questions people spout that bullshit rhetoric that you live red etc!

No I don't love red but I've got enough brain cells to understand that without a new owner lined up willing to change us back to blue who has near on £200m loose change in his pocket to buy tan out then unfortunately this is the way it is and that's why I cannot associate with BU because protesting for colours back and wanting the owner out with no plan B is absolutely ludicrous

Re: BU or BUst

Smackerz, I went on there to debate and discuss & all I got was that I "didn't understand" & I'm "only in it for the premiership" etc...

Basically labelling me pro-red (which as many know, I'm far from) because I happened to ask questions about BU. I found it most unwelcoming.

Now I'd prefer a CCFC without VT, probably more so than many - but at the moment, he holds ALL the cards, which is why he was able to string fans up over the rebrand.

Sad, but true.

Yep we'd all deep down love the blue back and I defend tan a lot on here and my defence of him is purely because of all the good he has done for the club! And like many I have gone along with red and continued to watch because there is at present no other alternative to him! If someone bought him out continued the good work he is doing( colour aside) and changed us back to blue it would be magnificent unfortunately there is no white knight with near on £200m to spend on a football club!

I believe Luke mentioned that the rebrand in his opinion is not down to lucky colour of tans but purely because tan has one intention and that's profit long term, I feel the same I expect him to complete the stadium expansion and new training grounds whilst establishing us in the top flight covering all debt to equity, this improving the balance sheet of the club, I then expect him to float if he meets the criteria of sell private and make probably £100m on the £100-150m he will have invested by then

The club will be a far more attractive proposition with a bugger stadium sustained top flight footy and training grounds owned by us than leased training facilities and a club close to relegation, just my opinion but I suppose time will tell on that front!

In the mean time I shall continue what I always do and that's enjoy every match day as if it's my last!

I am 100% against the rebrand and I fully respect the efforts of BU, but can't you see how patronising you're being? People like you are putting people off BU. Put your argument forward by all means in a respectful way, but don't say to people you must do this or must do that, because they will more than likely rebel against your demands and do the opposite.

Sadly, the behaviour of some of the BU members with their idiotic, abusive, disrespectful behaviour leaves a lot to be desired. I know the pro reds are ten times worse than any pro blue/BU member at times, but the difference is BU are in the spot light, those against BU are waiting for them to drop theirselves in it and mess up again and the more BU mess up, the less credibility they will have.

If BU want to get people on their side, they need to sort out their behaviour. You need to treat people with respect to get respect back and at the moment, certain members of BU are failing to do this, and are letting Sian Branson down hugely as a result for all the hard work she's put in so far. I didn't go to the march, but numerous people have mentioned the disrespectful behaviour, which unfortunately doesn't put BU in a good light at all.

Also, although my personal opinion is I want a return to blue and Tan out, do you know why there were less people attending the march the second time around? It's because BU have changed their view from wanting our identity back to wanting Tan out, and not every single pro blue/BU member wants Tan out. Tan divided the fan base with the rebrand, but BU have actually divided their own fan base by wanting Tan out, which has done them no favours at all.

Re: BU or BUst

99.999999% of Cardiff fans wants blue, regardless of who let other issues go withpout shotuing about it.

BU have been so unprofessional in the way the work, that many Cardiff fans who were on the first march were not on the 2nd and are not interested in them. Sian as a spokeswoman hardly attends games etc! Its hardly a good base for someone talking about history.Remember History can't be destroyed, no matter how many times she say it lol (cringe!)

B.U or U.B as it should be stands for Utter Bullshit. f**k them and the childish ways. Apparently its working, but all it has done is push our Chairman to hate Malky more as he wants to be the man who is the saviour, when quiet clearly that will never happen. The idea of a group (Trust or Supporters Club) bein ginvolved in something like this would of been great, but not feasible. More for someone who had shares, Annis, Borely, etc etc etc as they have a financial stake in the club and a route to speak to them.
