Your a week late on that one Alfie.
Chuckles was singing that tune all last week "official statement" blah de blah de blah and since he attended the march he had held his hands up and said he got it wrong. He felt the march was more about Tan out than a celebration of the blue.
This is where its going wrong for BU because whilst im sure everyone who gives a f**k want the blue back, the vast majority dont want Tan out.
ive read on another thread ,Alf saying we have all got hold of the wrong end of the stick, they dont want his head on a stake, just want him to sell.
it seems no matter how many times people say a TAN OUT message divides fans they just dont get it.
give me a welsh, Cardiff through and through chairman/ owner any day.. but with enough money to buy him out, there just arnt any.
if any business was losing custom or massively under achieving, and then found out that a large number of potential customers were not using them due to a misconception. would they say ,but we havent made an official statement saying that?..or would they make a strong official statement correcting those misconceptions.. no..no official statement
So all of the various posters writing posts on here and the messages on facebook and Twitter calling for Tan to sell up (in less polite terms...) in the fortnight after 'Moodygate' were a figment of my imagination, were they?
Now, as much as my personal preference is for Tan to sell up at his earliest convenience, I'm fully aware that many Cardiff City supporters have now backtracked considerably from their 'Tan Out' stance of a month or so ago (post Moodygate), and I agree that BU would be better off issuing a statement reiterating that they are not a 'Tan Out' group as that is clearly not the majority view at the moment. Mind you, should they really even need to, given that a 'Tan Out' march was never their stated aim in the first place!
