I staunchly defended BU against many on here and it's only right that I admit I was wrong to after seeing the protest march & what happened in it yesterday.

Some people choose to stay in pubs for a number of reasons, they get down there and meet their mates or whatever.

Freezing cold walking around marching and chanting against something which in reality is a lost cause.

Also you like me under 18 can go and criticise people for going to pubs as it's easy because you are too young. :ayatollah:

Is he the kid in the red strip ?

Re: Plenty on here need to hang their heads

Mon Nov 25, 2013 10:11 pm

I didn't go to the pub yesterday, I never said a word against BU until that idiot Bluewillrise told me I was a cruel parent for buying my son the red shirt and usually wear blue to games, but there was no way I was ever going to be associated with that group. When I heard the song about being welsh and not Malaysian, I'm afraid that I just laughed at them yesterday. Once again you try telling those of us who have supported the city longer than you have been born what we should be doing to save our club and how we should feel guilty for not marching or chanting silly songs. Thanks, but no thanks, I'm old enough to know my own mind and that's not how I do things.

Didn't you say numerous times on Twitter you was going to stop going games and in Pre Season you said you would never step foot in the CCS yet went to one of the Pre Season games? :laughing5:

It amazes me that people are surprised by this, BU showed what they were about very early on and I distanced myself very early on.

i think most people figured out where it was going, thats why the protests got smaller..i think most of the posts on here have been in an effort to to limit the damage they were doing. not that the half a dozen prize idiots took a blind bit of notice.or did in fact BU. i was gobsmacked by what Jon Candy came on and said. seemed not only the people being stupid on here didnt GET IT, but BU as a group didnt either.

Re: I quit Bluebirds unite

Mon Nov 25, 2013 10:35 pm

People like Chuckles and Jon are just gutted as the BU have always looked a very good group going in the right way but stupid individuals are ruining it.

I can see why Chuckles and Jon never got themselves fully involved with the BU. Unless everyone in the group are all on the same wave length and just stick with the views of what the group are about then they would go a lot further.

37 hang on in there, the fight for blue isn't lost yet. It's been a bad weekend for the BU but we got to pick ourselves up and carry on. I use Tan's smiling face as motivation to carry on the fight for our identity. This board may have fallen to the reds but there are still a few fans out there who care about our identity.

Quite right Alex, I stayed in the pubs in Canton all afternoon soaking up the atmosphere with friends who I had stood on the terraces with during the dark days. Days like Sunday, welcoming the Champions of the best league in the world to our ground are special. I wasn't going to waste it feeling sorry for myself and getting angry about something I have no baring on. Plus I was too pissed to march with the BU, I would have ended up somewhere in Grangetown.

Long time browser, I was led to believe it was a BLUE forum. The continual mocking of blues on here as changed that opinion.
