The boos at the FA cup game put him right off so more of the same, il boo him anyway just like I did with Giggs, only difference is I genuinely hate Giggs

Arsenal midfielder and former Cardiff City star Aaron Ramsey (‏@aaronramsey) is thrilled to see Campbell equalise for the Bluesbirds: “Great goal… game on.”

Ex-Cardiff man Ramsey (‏@aaronramsey) is delighted with the result – for two obvious reasons: “Great effort from Cardiff, deserved something from that.”

Former Bluebird Aaron Ramsey has been one of the top performers in the Premier League this season and his ex team mate Peter Whittingham said he always expected to see that -

Ramsey will get a big round of applause from me, as he IS a Cardiff City FC supporter and has never (to my knowledge) let us down like certain others (cough, erm, Gunter; cough, erm, Ledley) after he went on from here...

Strewh, he even came back under DJ to help us out after his broken leg and played a blinder in an undefeated run ;)

To be perfectly honest, I genuinely believe he will be back one day at the club he LOVES and can see no logical reason not to applaud him when he comes out :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I will applaud him for sure. He was a legend here. Any player would be stupid to stay in the Championship (at the time) rather than go to a top 4 club in the best league in the world. I respect him. What a player.

"He was a legend here"!!!! How many games did he play for us ffs?

Yeah I'm a fan, he's a great player for club & country & I'll applaud him before & after the game but legend for Cardiff City?

Will applaud before the game and after. During the match though he is just another opposition player.

I'll applaud him, but he didn't stay in the championship, he went to a top 4 club :?

Basically stating that ANY player would be stupid to turn down a top 4 club to stay in the 2nd Division... :laughing5:

Quite a few more games than Caulker has - After his goal against Swansea, he is counted as a Cardiff legend by many too.

What about Bellamy? He hasn't exactly been here to play hundreds & hundreds of games either yet again he is counted as a legend here too. :malky:

Ramsey may not of played in hundreds of games either but everyone can appreciate him for what he has become and the fact that a superstar started his professional career at Cardiff. Possibly "Cardiff legend" was OTT but I loved him whilst he was here!

The word legend is so over used.
Neither of your examples are legends IMO but I agree with what you say about Ramsey 100%. It's great to see a local fella do so well & the fact he started with City makes it even sweeter.
