Glad to know I wasnt the only 1 seeing this. Listening to others was starting to think I was going mad nice 1 bluearmy! Lets hope for a betta ref tomoz and give it to the mancs.lol

It wasnt corrupt. Far more reason to let Groves win than Froch as Froch is at the end of his career where as Groves can be a cash maker for some time and could have started his British boxing 'legacy'.

Just a really horrible refs decision.

Groves absolutely robbed! I know what people are saying about refs making sure nobody gets hurt but if refs stopped fights like that every time somebody was rocked we would never see any fights going the distance! Thought Froch came across as a wanker in his interview aswell, he got very lucky there & I would have had more respect for him if he had been a bit more honest about how the fight went

If refs stopped all fights like that boxing would be a shambles. Groves was rocked but still throwing punches, same as Froch had been in early rounds. I thought a standing 8 count would have been fair then see how they were after that, it was as if the ref couldn't wait 2 stop it! He jumped on groves back!

If anything, both were robbed.

I'm pretty certain that Groves was spent, he exerted all of his energy in the first half of the fight.
The shots that Froch took were amazing and for that he should have your respect.

iv just watched it .it,s all on youtube.hmmmm.right my view is he was hurt but maybe a little premeture.i dont think froch would have let him off the hook though.only saw it from the one camara angle.the ref will have his say soon and say how he saw it.i can see why gg is upset tho he doesnt look in the best of shape imo.

FROCH was battered for at least 6 rnds and wouldn't of finished anywhere near the way he normally would coz a battering takes it out of you.. I watched them walk back towards there changing rooms and froch was by far the one looking tired..

it doesn,t matter if it was one of the first exchanges he won.carl froch was still on his feet after being outclassed.george groves was running out of steam imo.if you want to compare it to football how many times have cardiff hung on for grim death and nicked a goal late on?the fight lasts potentally 12 rounds .groves was unable to finish it dispite his points lead.froch was able to finish it albeit a bit premiture.no doubt in my mind froch would have stopped him if the ref hadn,t ended it then.just for the record it,s only really the last few years iv warmed to froch.i like groves.groves will be world champ one day.then we will have all this again with james degale .

Froch was outclassed, picked off at will by a genuinely classy boxer, made him look like a chump for 8 rounds. Froch did well to hang in there, caught Groves in the ninth and the ref (dodgy as) couldn't wait to stop the fight (fight should never have been stopped, Groves wasn't defenceless he was still fighting back). Fight was completely bent I reckon. I had Groves 5 maybe 6 up, don't forget he had the knockdown in the first which would have given him a 10-8 lead. 2 rounds went to Froch in my opinion and that's it. How the judges had Groves up by one smells of some wrong doing to me. Boxing needs to clean up its act.

No way of knowing what would have happened, one punch can change everything. Take a look back at Colin Jones v Kirkland Lang (twice), Jones took a pasting for over half the fight both times, and knocked Lang out both times in the same round if I remember correctly. All I know is that it takes guts and dedication to get to where Groves and Froch are, and I wouldn't like to quote the headline of this post to Froch's face, and I doubt many others would either.
