Nevertheless its a valid question and one they should answer. You can't be a little bit pregnant, you're either for or against something and as organising members its their job to answer questions like this.

They are not concerned about the answer. It is now obvious they want Tan gone even if it means us going out of business.
They also need to remember that the vast majority of fans who watch the team aren't bothered anymore otherwise thousands would march. Maybe the rest of us have a little more sense.
:malky: :malky: :malky:

You speak for yourself mate no one else.

It is not obvious at all they want Tan gone. Some do, some don't. That's what humans are like.

What's your problem with people being proud of Cardiff City colours and the bluebird?

i dont think anyones got a problem with it but most posters on here are mocking people who except the colour change for the greater good of the club ,btw we arestill called the bluebirds and have a bluebird on the badge :)

Firstly you have no evidence to support that the colour change has been good for the club in any way especially the divisions it has caused amongst the fans. We may be called the bluebirds (for how much longer) but we play in red and remember that Tan when asked did not rule out further changes.

To be fair, i've never got involved with any of the BU threads until now but it does seem that some of their members (don't know what percentage) are now moving the goalposts from a return to our rightfull colours to now wanting tan out. Nobody can deny that VT has done a lot of good things for our club and put a huge amount of money where his mouth is, (something that no other owner in the history of our club has done) unfortunately it's come at a price as far as our colours are concerned, i will not buy any of the red merchandise but have no problem with them who do (their choice) but i feel he has now overstepped the mark as far as interfering with team affairs and his clashing with malky goes and i would like hin to move on, but before he goes i want to see the stadium expansion finished, the new state of the art training facilities up and running and the main agenda, turning out debt to equity, when these are complete we will become far more of an attraction for any potential new owner, it is then that tan can be shown the door (verbally) because at this present time there is nobody out there with the finances to take us to the next level in fact there never has been apart from VT

Re: Tan out banners

Well why are the BU supposed to be in charge of finding a buyer? First step is for Tan to put us on the market, then we will see potential buyers step forward. Until he does that we will never know. The BU will assist in anyway it can for the removal of Tan and his vile cronies.

Yes he claims he wants blue but has done or suggested nothing positive to ensure this. Its easier for him to rubbish others who are at least trying.

Re: Tan out banners

Fri Nov 22, 2013 5:54 pm

It's strange how so many people just assume that this mystical new owner will love blue and will switch us back. He may like red. He may like yellow or green or any other colour and seek to impose that on the club. Tan could even put a legal clause in the sale requiring the club to stay red for x number of years.

Its certainly not a given we would go back to blue. We could still be red but with a new owner in charge who has f**k all money and rapes the clubs assets.

Its a journey into the unknown and for some, after finally getting some financial stability at the club, its not a risk worth taking.

This is why BU's anti-Tan movement will not get significant support.

Tan comes accross as a stubborn man. He certainly will not be bullied by a few hundred people. Tan is more likely to dig his heels in further.

Re: Tan out banners

Fri Nov 22, 2013 5:55 pm

Tan out banners , why ? Thought its all about trying to return to blue , surely that's what is should be about ? Trying to persuade tan .. All this tab out is nonsense, he has dine a kit for this club, we are in the best position fir years , so I don't want tan out, back to blue yes, that is why U won't get involved with BU

What force tan out with bu leading the way because you advocate tan out banners on bu March, which will be taken as bu policy by media looking for story? So you force him out then what? ???? Prey for a Blue friendly billionaire? ? Only problem i have with your proposal is nothing in place to replace tan, all speculative crap.

I'll be honest, you really are starting to get me down.

I don't understand your motivation. You are spending time and effort to try and undermine those who are standing up for our clubs identity.

It is unbelievable, totally unbelievable what Tan has done to us. Some good, some bad, but the rebrand is awful, absolutely awful.

Our bluebird relegated to an afterthought, the colours gone and disrespected..slowly being eradicated.

The owner laughs at us time and time again.

The march on sunday is not a Tan In/Out march. Stop making it into one..it's pathetic, it's slanderous, it's depressing.

Honestly, I'm getting close to giving up on this all. It's won't be Tan that kills it for me, it will be my fellow supporters.

Shameful.

If you aren't going on the march then that is up to you, I respect that, but the mudslinging, the slagging off of passionate fans is pathetic and depressing.

I thought we all had pride in our colours. The truth is far from it.

Sad occasion. Unfortunately, for me, it never got better than that bittersweet day at Wembley against Liverpool. A sad day, but we were united and proud.

Given the significant rebrand and also the stories surfacing about background struggles between Tan and Mackay, I think it's perfectly reasonable than a number of Cardiff City fans are calling for a new owner.

As much as I can understand fans still wanting things like stadium expansion and a new training ground, I'm afraid that I'd far rather see the back of the megalomaniac running the club than either of those things. Similarly, finding someone who can "take us to the next level" are also of far less importance, as far as I'm concerned, compared to seeing Cardiff City's long term identity restored and an end to Tan's crazy stewardship.

As far as debt to equity is concerned, well, at this stage there appear to be no guarantees regarding this anyway. Personally, I hope he does convert to debt to equity as I believe that many Cardiff City fans currently 'on the fence' regarding Tan, will start to push for his exit.
