Its not a moral dilemma at all. Its a personal choice. I would never wear a red shirt either but my kids have them and I feel no guilt about it as they are just kids who follow their team and want the kit that their favourite players wear. They also have all of the blue shirts since they started supporting the Bluebirds.

Exactly how I see it.
And did the same for my nephew.

I'd certainly rather the money went into the club than some person making a quick buck off the rebrand.

No child of mine will be seen wearing Tans dirty red rag, what if they wanted to wear the Jacks shirt and support them? Would you allow that?

You are just aiding Tan and helping him successfully brain wash the next generation, it is cruel to buy children a red shirt as they don't know what it means.

And the sort of shit you spout is why so many people won't join pro blue causes because they don't want to be associated with the kind of aggressive tone and inflammatory language that seem to prevail in order for you to get your message across.

I vociferously oppose the re-branding and would rather die than wear any red merchandise.

I spoke to my cousin today, who is the mother of my godson, to ask her what she would like me to buy him for Christmas. Her side of the family are massively into Rugby, your stereotypical family that come out for Welsh Internationals and prefer Rugby over football because it's "a proper man's sport". They know nothing about football or Cardiff City. You know the type.

Anyway, she said that my godson has started to play football in school and he loves it [great to see that brainwashing doesn't work]. She said he has started supporting Cardiff City and would really like a Cardiff City shirt. She also said he would like the red one as it's the shirt he has seen them wearing when he's watched them on the telly.

Obviously this puts me in a nasty little situation as I feel so strongly about the rebrand and I don't want to support the rebrand in anyway. I also don't want to contribute to more digusting red shirts being out in circulation.

BUT

It's my frickin godson and it's what he wants for Christmas. I can't have a kid feeling disappointed at Christmas.

It looks like I will have to get it for him as I'll feel a lot worse disappointing a child than I would feel seeing another red shirt in circulation.

I hate Tan for making us feel this way.

Just buy the red one he wants. He will be a new City fan, and we wont be in red forever!

buy him the shirt, its a kid wanting a shirt that he sees others wearing. Hes a kid, let him enjoy xmas. theres nothing wrong with anyone wearing a red shirt. much rather see kids in a red shirt than a shirt from another team.

THey doesn't know what that filthy red rag means though, it's cruel. If your going to buy them that horrendous looking thing at least tell them the damage it has caused and the full story behind it, if they have some sense they will want the blue one.

They are kids, they don't need to be exposed to politics of football, they want enjoyment.

You are just brain washing kids by telling them your one sided crap.
