Blackpool will try and demand as much as they can, they could get 5 million at the highest from a club.

£1,560 would certainly be a bargain!

7.3m seems crazy when out of contract a few months along.

I think he will stay in Jan and wait for his bonus paycheck signing on a free for someone

Swansea hope to pip Cardiff to Thomas Ince signing in cut-price January move

Blackpool's £8million-rated wonderkid is out-of-contract next summer and Welsh sides leading the chase for the England Under-21 star

Swansea aim to beat south Wales rivals Cardiff to the signing of Tom Ince in January.

The £8million-rated Blackpool winger is already an England Under-21 star and faced San Marino in Shrewsbury last night.

Ince snubbed a switch to Premier League newboys Cardiff last summer, but Welsh neighbours Swansea, who bulked at the original asking price, are ready to launch a cut-price move with the 21-year-old out-of-contract at the end of the current campaign.

Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins said: “Tom is a very good young player and one we looked at in the summer. I would say it is likely that we will be talking to Blackpool again.

“I know their chairman, Karl Osyton, and when the time is right we will make contact and see what can be done.”

Jenkins, who admits Michael Laudrup would like two new recruits during the next transfer window with the other player expected to provide cover in defence or midfield, revealed last summer that he was ‘staggered’ by Blackpool’s £8million valuation.
