I enjoy watching him more as well. Prefer watching Madrid to Barca too from a neutral perspective. Messi and co slow the game down, playing keep ball instead of trying to score once they have a lead and it can be boring to watch at times.

Real Madrid play much more exciting Football in terms of attacking.

Dortmund too. Sadly, Pep is putting his keep ball stamp on Munich and they are not as free flowing this season as they were last.

Can't stand Pep.

His sides win but considering how good they are they should do it in a far more entertaining style.

This slow passing game bullshit is just another way of playing safety first.

You clearly don't appreciate good football. He always set Barça out to play in style.

If you are on twitter, during the game people were raving about Sweden coming back and hoping to see Ibra over Ronaldo in the World Cup, delusional.

He set Barca to pass it a thousand times a match. They would put it into positions which any other team would dream of getting into because it was a perfect opportunity for a shot or cross then pass it a dozen times before getting back to their own keeper. Pointless football.

Some Football supporters enjoying the passing game, some enjoy the free attacking Football which Madrid have.

The award started in 2010 after France Football's Ballon d'Or and the men's FIFA World Player of the Year award were merged. The winner of the inaugural 2010 FIFA Ballon d'Or was Lionel Messi who then went on to reclaim the title the following two years.

13th jan 2014 the next ballon d'or 2013.

They normally award to a player who has won World Cup/champions league/league title
I don't think ronaldo will win it..no titles and only runner up top scorer (34) behind messi (46 goals). I reckon a bayern Munich player might win it.

2008 ;) Might be a technically different award but it is of the same significance.
