Craig,

It goes without saying that people can 'wear what they want'.

If we were talking politics, and i said I think Labour are the best party, it doesn't mean I've staged a military coup and suspended democracy.

Of course people can wear what they want!

People's patience is wearing thin though with the pro-reds. I know mine is. We've tolerated this crap long enough. Tan is continuing to disrespect the club and our fans and drip by drip we lose a little more of who we are.

That's why people are probably a bit tetchy with you. I can see their point. We are trying to fight for Cardiff City here, and all that means, and some people just don't care. It's annoying.

But yes, people can wear what they want!

it bothers you enough to make this very obvious remark so not bothered isnt you.
it isnt me telling people who were happy wearing blue for 20,40 60 years how much better they would look in red.is it?
had i not been bothered i wouldnt even read it let alone make remarks.
and tbh if Tan was correct and 95% were happy in red.i wouldnt bother posting what i did.
he has done something AGAINST public opinion. AGAINST what most of his customers would prefer.
there are not many businesses that could survive what he has done.

You got all that from me saying people can wear what they want???

still bothered?

You are a very odd individual

Come on Sven, when the man changes the whole clubs image & major part of club traditions, without even consulting the fans, he's got to expect some sort of criticism for it.. Especially when he keeps making Barmy decisions, the Kazakh a prime example.

No one criticises his every move. Lots of people criticise his rebrand, his lack of engagement with fans, his disdain for tradition, his arrogance, his management style, his tinkering in team affairs, his appointment of Borat and his falling out with Mackay.

Those are all things he should be criticised for. His investment, his £1m charity give away etc aren't.

He can't do what he wants though..well, he can, but there are consequences and the chickens are coming home to roost now on the rebrand.

Barry, you know as well as anyone that I am not anti-Blue and that I am neither anti or pro Tan. I just think that there is far more to what he has done than meets the eye and it isn't all bad; in fact, most of it has been to the benefit of Cardiff City FC (as well as the engrandoisement of Vincent tan himself)

The bulk of people only 'jumped on the bandwagon' once safety (and then subsequent promotion) was assured and I find that disappointing. The 'true' protestors (like Ely Boy) were those that stood up and were counted by their principled decisons to walk away right from the start; not when they felt secure enough to moan from the sidelines

As for the 'Khazak' thing? Let's be honest, who really knows what that was/is all about? My personal thought is that it has everything to do with his father (and his money) so maybe not as daft as it might first appear

As I said though, it's only my opinion/thoughts :ayatollah:

Regarding the Khazak, if he's offering important jobs within Malky's setup to unqualified people, just to secure funding - to me that's even more alarming than his original, bizarre appointment.

I dont have to plough in 100 million to have an opinion. I was here before Tan and will be afterwards. Make no mistake Tan deserves every bit of critisism over the way he has acted not only towards the fans but Malky also. I have distrusted Tan since the rebrand and now that he is revealing to everyone what a revolting character he is then the fans are beginning to voice their opposition which will only get louder from here on in. :ayatollah:

I agree with most of that, soulofthesea, and we are certainly divided. Tan has certainly caused 'problems' for himself and supporters alike with his mis-informed decisions on things such as the change to red

However, all I am trying to get across is that a lot of what he has done has put the club in a better position than it could have dreamed of just a few short years ago and that the club's very survival and subsequent progression is/was far more important in the real world that the majority of us live in

I honestly believe that the FACT that the club survived and progressed is more important than chasing the 'blue' dream AT THIS CURRENT TIME because Tan won't be here forever and driving him away NOW would be counter-productive IMHO. A new owner in the not-too-distant future, however, may see the change that we would all like

Every supporter (and I mean those that attend matches) have their own opinions on the matter, but I still say that there were very few who stood up when the time was right, i.e. at the point of colour change, so by default (no matter how reluctantly) we accepted the red by our relative silence and subsequent attendance at games

It's not about being pro-Tan or pro-Red. I truly WANT the blue back. But it is simple pragmatism and a realistic approach to the whole situation. Without Tan (and TG) we might not have a club to support...and even if we did, it may well have been one in a much lower division. That may suit some, but after too many years of watching my beloved (but often struggling) team, if nothing else, this season has made me realise how good it is to be up there with 'the best' AFTER TOO MANY YEARS AWAY! ;) :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

It doesnt bother me. Doesnt mean I like it, I just dont get wound up over it to the extent some do. As Luke said, I distanced from KCB as their ideas were going OTT imo.

At the time it was just a gathering to discuss rebrand and what to do....KCB was born at the end of it.

a chance,to do no more than turn up in blue infront of the world, and allow the media to take it from there.thousands of individuals with no other agenda than they prefer the old traditional colours to the new ones.i dont see any group getting us anywhere im afraid, the temptation is always there to be over political, and want what is impossible.
