Or a potential new owner could think that they now have a very easy way to get the fans on their side.

Its not good having immature people shouting tan out all the time, thats no good to the players or the manager. A new owner themselves could come in and sack malky, get rid of half the players and say i want these, and the biggest point is that how do a you no a new owner would change us to blue anyway?

Best post i have read in months.. but i feel the ones who want blue back should make themselves heared but Tan out is being ridiculous

Ooops sorry! There is all of us out here thinking that anyone who takes over CANNOT be as mad as the emperor.

Why is Tan 'mad' because he wants his own way after ploughing in so much money? :?

Whether we agree or not with his ideals, it doesn't necessarily make him mad. If that was the case, then we are all 'mad' because we all want our own way even when it is out of our hands (as the current situation is proving)

TBH, I find your comment exceptionally ignorant and bang out of order, but I suppose we are lucky you aren't looking to get things all your own way as well, eh? ;)

Not much!!

Exactly.

The way people are talking is like we had a queue of people wanting to buy/save us when HMRC came knocking.

Of course it is. It's the top division in the league pyramid we are members of.

Our club plays matches to gain points in hope of getting into the top league as we have done. Now the club plays to gain points to stay in this league. Go and ask the players we support if the league is the be all and end all, I would wage that every player we support says it is. If it isn't we wouldn't want them, as we want winners.

We support our club in hope they win games, and in this hopefully trophies come. The be all and end all is being in the top division for our club. We support the players, manager, support staff and the all want success a d premiership football.

It's very easy for people on here to say we wouldn't have been liquidated due to the hmrc, but when it's you in control of the club at that time it's a different ball game, easy go make the call when the pressure isn't on your shoulders and you don't have all the info.

From the info that was put out, there was nobody apart from tan who had the money to save us and stabilise us for a long period.

Tan saved us.

I dont really understands everyone obsession with using the red as a premiership thing.
If we stay up we will play in Red
If we go down we will play in Red

Playing in red has nothing to do with the premiership, its Tans decision to chnage us and keep us red regardless of the league we are in.

No, we support Tan's club. The sooner people realise that the better. It's Tan's toy. If he wanted to change our slogan to something like 'In Tan We Trust' he could do so and put it under the badge if he was that egocentric and people may object but that won't stop him as the money comes from other avenues in masses.

Blackburn have raised opposition against their owners yet they are still there regardless. Tan will, like many other owners do as he pleases as its his club now.

Tan will not leave without getting some of his money back so he will have to sell to someone .

Exactly, Hitler could come in and say 3 words "Back to Blue" and he'd be loved by fans. (I know hes dead but it's just an example)

Let them walk. If you walk away from your club on the back of a relegation then you're not a real fan anyway and thats the truth. I wouldn't care if we were going up north to play FC United of Manchester and teams of that level. What I'd like to see is a club that fully represents the city I was proud to be brought up in. What I want to see is an owner, like Kenwright at Everton, who acknowledges he has done wrong and listens to the fans. Kenwright isn't the richest of owners but he is a true owner who is a fan himself. What I don't want to see is our club being replaced with Tan's Malaysian brand image to suit his own ego.

I don't mind tan, I dint agree with alot of what he had done, but agree.hugely with other aspects. football is changing sadly, adapt or die.

Adapt or die........or stand up and fight for change and what is right regardless of any consequences that may arise. If you allow yourself to be silenced then you are allowing the oppression of your own viewpoint, opinion and rights. If you're willing to allow that to happen that's entirely up to you. Thankfully, other people through time would rather stand up for what is right rather than be silenced.

People are very short sighted. They are fighting the wrong fight. There is a reason why all clubs are now having wealthy foreign owners, they know what is coming, an it's going to be huge money.

People should be fighting, sky/Fox, Walt Disney, star sports. They are the major players who will decide football,

Fifa/ UEFA, won't have a say in the years to come. I don't know when, but the owners of the big club s have a rough idea.

Times are changing.

If the next owner changes us back to blue but in the process strips the club of everything its got, takes us down to league two and wound us up so we had to start again some on here would say "Well, atleast we did it in blue". Pathetic. I don't support a colour I support Cardiff City, yes i'd rather us in blue but like Polo said, is there anyone else willing to buy us?

I've not seen a queue, people forget that guys that could seriously support liverpool with cash to look after the club were in short supply, and it showed when the 2 donkeys from the states actually never had the cash to sustain them... If liverpool seriously struggled, would fans really want us to look a gift horse in the mouth??
