When they see us they turn around and run back towards where they came from. We went after them (waist deep), and honestly both sets were laughing at each other and throwing insults. Even the police were laughing when they also waded in! As I clambered up the bank from the beach a cardiff lad kicked me in the head! He laughed, I laughed. Everything seemed to be funny as f**k by this time! The best moment was Mel Nurse who owned a nearby hotel shouting at a Cardiff lad to get off his car as he was jumping up and down on the roof!

As to 5 limos we were told on the day there was only 2 limos and and that one of the Jacks in the Limo rang the Police to let them know u were coming as deep down u were shitting it, as to whether that is true, we might never know the truth, but how come the police were waiting for u lot? thats still a mystery.

So alltho u claim to have your victorys we allso have ours such as the friendly when we come to the corporation I belive and alltho had many lads inside still locked the doors and made no attempt to come out.
Now annis I know that you allso locked your self with many others inside the quadrant gate pub in central swansea in the 90s after you all give it large as I was one of tje lads who was walking past with a mate and hot chased down the rd.
But when confronted by a mob locked the doors again.
And no we dont claim to have won everything but I am 44 and been involved since 15 and cant remember u realy running swansea but admit there have been times you brought many.

I've tried not to post, but sometimes you've just got to...I'm at least half a dozen years older than SL69 [ whose posts I actually like !], but to say Cardiff never thought outside the box ? Cardiff, including our Rhondda lot, went on the NB just about every derby/Wales game throughout the 80's, the only time we nearly came unstuck was the Scotland game, when if it wasn't for the coppers, we would have had a hiding. I'm not disputing that Swansea didn't have a decent mob, they did, just not quite good enough, happy times...
