There we go then. "Inferior" players are capable of standing out for single matches, doesnt mean they would walk in the other side though. If thats the case Crouch would be up front for Man United :laughing6:

Nonsense. Marshall, Caulker, Medel and Odemwingie would all get in your team easily.

No chance. The only one out of that lot is Caulker and he would have his work cut out against Chico who is far more technical. The edge maybe our need for height.

The others would not get in the starting 11 of that I am positive.

Ok. CBA arguing with you.

Why comment on someone else's spelling when you cannot spell yourself  You are the only one in the world with predictive text i assume :laughing6:

Your is a completely different word to you're. Wouldn't have picked it up if he was genuinely contributing to the thread.

However when being a bit of a tit, it helps to spell correctly.

Rangel actually said medel is good player but 11m is a lot for a defensive midfielder who doesn't score many goals, hardly offensive is it? As for James well he is right, Marshall has been decent this far but swans have two great goalkeepers including a Dutch international. Odemwingie was targeted as a back up for bony and would be a swans player if we wanted him that much! Medel may possibly get in but may not have a good enough technique and passing for our team. Only genuine contender is caulker who I'd rate on par with Chico as they are both quality defenders.

The ONLY thing that surprises me is that ANYONE gives that 'sot' (Leighton James) any airtime or media space

The guy is an arse, who has a personal (jealous) agenda towards Cardiff City Football Club and should be treated with the same contempt as he has shown towards our club AND those (so-called) loved ones at home he let down so badly

Leighton James; an embarrassment to himself, his family, his club and his nation

how is this news?

Swansea have been in the Prem longer than us, if in our first season we have a better squad than Swansea, I even as a Cardiff fan would be questioning what Swansea have been doing to end up in this situation.

what bothers me is that someone has let Leighton James speak which lets him think hes come out with some kind of shocking revelation.

I agree - he should grow up a bit, by going back to his own forum to join the others who wank over 'The Swansea Way', whatever shit that is...

I dont really see what was wrong with what he said to be honest.

if you were building a team (and subs) between the two side what would everyone go for then?

personally id go;

Vorm (marshall not far behind though)
rangel
caulker
williams
Davies

Medel
britton

Dyer
De Guzman
Routeledge

Michu

Subs: Marshall, Chico, theophile, mutch, whitts, odemwingie, shelvey

Leighton James epitomises all that Swansea is. Small. Inferiority Complex. Bitter. Obsessed.

One problem michu is not a striker! He's a midfielder but swans only have bony m as main striker snd he's obviously not good enough according to this!

neither team has someone who i would call good enough up front. Bony and Cornelius really unproven at this level, and Campbell not good enough. In that case you could make a case for odemwingie. but Michu has played up front before so i dont see the problem with it.

Mine would be the same except I would put Hernandez and Mutch in for De Guzman and Routledge. So mostly Swansea players for me as well although the best teams don't always win. We proved that when we beat Man City!
