Maybe look at some of the fringe players with Barca & Real Madrid. Now is the time to get looking as we just don't have that cutting edge at the moment and other teams know that.
Long and Zaha would be utterly superb signings for this team, even if only on 6 month loans.

We'll play much better than today and lose, but after nine games its still a learning curve. We're tough to beat but definitely need some creative spark, but these things take time
Of all the other newly promoted sides the last ten years I'm sure the stats will be favourable to us compared to everybody else's starts to a new campaign. Plenty of time and room for improvement

£35m actually and £8m of that hasn't even been accounted for yet. That will happen in due course. Southampton spent £40m last year and it took them a lot longer to adjust than we have

Why do you expect to go to Norwich and beat them at home? We are a bottom 4 team and will be scrapping for points every game, any away point is a good point. What makes you think we are a better team than Norwich very strange.

Any point away from home in this league is a good point. What makes you think that we've a divine right to win these sorts of games?

Fulham, Hull and Norwich we've picked up five away points. An excellent return for a newly promoted side who will be fighting at the bottom of the table.

I think that you need to look at Norwich's HOME RECORD before making a statement like the one above.
Since August 2012 Norwich have played 24 home matches - they have won 10 of them including Man. U. and Arsenal. They drew 8 of them including Spurs, Swansea and Everton and the only lost 6 matches against Chelsea (twice), Villa (twice), Liverpool and Man. City. Apart from Villa, only teams who regularly play in the Champions League have beaten Norwich at home in their last 24 home matches. Do you rate us as a Champions League team? I don't, but I rate us as a mid table team who I'll bet to beat the Norwich's of this world because I'm an optimist ( my heart rules my head when betting ), but I expected a draw.

Sorry Pal I have to disagree, we have to find our way in this League, draw away win at home against the likes of Hull and Norwich and stay up easy and build on it next season![]()

Malky don't listen to them, you are no fool like Phil Brown and Holloway that think teams coming up can play attacking football in the first few seasons
