Your probably right - they are after serial downloaders but "the man" has already chased pirate bay and kick ass out of town (though still accessible) and other as wells. I didnt use isohunt much so dont know the story there. But its about lowering the chances. Use "hide my ass", use peerblock or an equivalent product and if your ISP starts getting twichty over your downloading theres less chance of them picking on you. Some might also say dont seed beyond what youve downloaded as well so you arent visible for too long but thats down to your conscience!

Where it comes to torrents there are a few rules,

1 - Don't download anything that has a .rar extension,
2 - Don't download anything that has a .WMA extension,
3 - 90% of legit films/movies come with a sample,
4 - Always read the comments,
5 - Download hotspot shield, it is a program which masks your IP and uses a different one from somewhere else in the world. This allows you to bypass the UK governments crack down on pirate bay etc,
6 - Never go onto a website when it tells you it needs a codec to play.

Simple things which stop bullshit uploaders.
