Dunno but he has to be foreign
Do you think a foreign manager like for arguments sake that Southampton chap could work with our squad which is more workmanship than quality?

Bluesince92 wrote:I think our style of play and the way we set up doesn't help any of our strikers. They are isolated and spend most of the time chasing the ball. However in the prem you only get one or two chances which need to be taken. Whether the strikers we got now can do that I don't know. So far I'd say no.

Probably not. Absolutely crazy to say that considering weve spent 35m.
Weve got to somehow hold on in there get to January and add some attacking quality.

A quality striker in January is not going to happen. In fact quality anywhere in January never happens.
The £35m would be a strong argument for Tan if it was not for his antics of Moodgate. Take that away and this would be a big debate.

By attacking quality I am not just talking a striker but some pace and creativity from midfield.
We are not creating xhances for our strikers.

He may well see him partner someone up top. Regarding the £35 million spent I don't think we can question £20 million of that being Medel and Caulker. Great signings. The £8 million on Cornelius can also not be questioned yet IMO as no one knew he'd get injured.

Yes I think that would be the first step.
It makes you wonder if now the Ince move makes us the ones missing out on instead of him.

Yes I do. Seen you endorsing Tans rebrand by wearing the full kit down the Everton game.
I said to my mate "Theres Jon there from the forum"
He said "Which one? The special needs kid with the full kit on?"
"Yes that's him"

If we'd have gone back to the Championship when Brendan was our manager, I'd have still wanted to keep him, because I was confident he knew how to get us up again. He's your manager and, at this time, your supporters will have different ideas on how to progress. If he does get the sack, he'll be snapped up by another club pretty quick.
Another point I think is worth making. Some of you are crediting Tan with spending £35 million on players. Well anyone of us would do that, if BSkyB were going to give us three times as much over the next twelve months. All he's doing is giving you a third of what he's going to get.

I feel the Manchester City has papered over the cracks significantly. Malky has a lot to thank Vincent Kompany for because if he had played that game no way would we have scored from two corners. I feel people are giving him the benefit of the doubt at the moment because of that game, lets see if we can get a string of results together against some easier opposition.

You do realise the Sky money has to cover more than just transfer fees?

Do you realise the Sky money is not your only income stream?
Anyhow, didn't Tan say he thought that the thirty five million was meant to cover the wages of the signings as well?
