This extra player caused us loads of problems and disorganized us because nobody knew who to pick up and there was always somebody free creating more space. Then when they went 3-1 he put a defender back on like to say job done.

We didn't play bad just got beat by a better side. On to Norwich :ayatollah:

Jose certainly did Ackers.

I think people in this thread are confusing my opinion of where it went wrong yesterday with suggesting I want Malky out as manager.

Totally wrong, Malky is a good manager but still learning.

Question for those who are saying we were outclassed by Chelsea because of the cost of their players, up until Chelsea got the controversial equaliser, what had they done to threaten our goal ?

Always felt Chelsea had a couple of gears where we didn't,much like us last year getting results without playing well. You can't Judge Malky against Jose in that fashion as the latter has a muti-million pound squad with much better players all over than we do.And his hand was forced by the injury to that striker and rather out thinking Malky got a bit lucky when if he had got his own way before he was sent off would have made the substitution earlier and had to change his mind.
Carl, don't do a chuckles just because people don't agree with your take on the game.

I agree that they hadn't threatened up until their first goal but you always thought they could go up a few gears if they wanted to. We played well yesterday against the odds and whats annoying for us is that you don't expect officials to make those type of mistakes at this level but it's gone now, lets focus on next week.
