Re: So who to blame this week

I think it'll be a case of MM to blame when Mutch puts us 1-0 up then Tan to blame when we lost 4-1......

Obviously nothing to do with the ineptness of Malky's tactics in second half or poor players like Cowie & Gestede getting a look in no matter what with MM.

Seriously, if I'd have said to you 6 months ago that Cowie would play 90 mins and Gestede would get a run out at Chelsea in the Prem - you'd have laughed at me.....

Time for the whole group to get on with it !

I blame our "keyboard coach" fans.

We gave last years Champion league Winners a game and lost, so what. We were not embarrassed.

Just enjoy it....

I'm not sure if anyone or any group is to blame as in my opinion today we were beaten by a much better team and that should surprise none of us.

Today individual mistakes cost us and that together with little or no goal threat within the team means, in my opinion, we are going to be no better than bottom 5 this season. We now find ourselves in the bottom 5 with an away game against another team, currently in the bottom 3, next week.

That now becomes an absolute must not lose game but how many of us have any real faith we can keep a clean sheet next week :?

Maybe the question should be - Who is to blame for the team carrying little or no goal threat?. Losing Cornelius to injury is bad luck but he will have to turn out to be one hell of a player when he finally does get fit to be able to score in this team.

Whatever happens this season on the pitch I will not blame Tan. He has done his bit by investing a significant amount of money, more than we could have hoped, into the team this year. If players are being affected by his off the pitch nonsense then that's their fault. It seems like a massive cop out to blame the owners for on field ineptness.

Providing he stays off the field.

^^^^^THIS^^^^^

Had a good feeling before this game (particularly after Mutch's goal) and I had a bet on at 11/1 and people said it should have been even higher odds

I guess they were right but even at 20/1 I'm still £10 down and deserved it TBH  :ayatollah:

True, I wouldn't put it past him naming himself on the teamsheet one game.

Sorry Baked but you seem to be looking to blame Tan for everything.I'm also waiting for the Malky bad tactics bollox(though not necessarily by you)The fact is we got beat today by a team with far more ability than us and that cost a hell of a lot more than us.I respecfully suggest a new and novel tactic-Blame No-one,look at the positives(and for me there were plenty)
and move on to the next game.

No need to apologise.

Yep lets move onto the next game. Lets not worry about Tan.

I don't see the point in worrying about Tan.He may have learned a lesson as a result of his actions. He most certainly will have learned a bit more about not interfering with the playing side of the club(he will be aware of what the press has been saying,in particular, the broardsheets)but you and I will never know.I have never understood why some fans are not happy unless there's a crisis to drool over.(again, not necessarily you)

Einsteins right about time on the ball. Newcastle, Spurs, Chelsea,,,all looked like they had two extra players that we did.

As to the original point, then blame all three.

What VT wants, VT gets. Cross him at your peril, he Will yield an axe.

Moody, £30 odd million spent on players, but who's going to score the goals? VT wanted a Michu type value goalscorer, not an overpriced Torres [remember his interview].

Malky, a difficult situation, but you are the manager, & at this level, any naive misgivings stand out like a sore thumb. Time will never be on your side!
