For those of you who are old enough, can you imagine the likes of Shankly, Clough, Revie ETC, or in more recent times Ferguson, putting up with that sort of crap? I rate Malky highly, and respect his integrity, I wouldn't be surprised to see him walk. If he does, it'll be an enormous blow, and disrupt what has been so far, a fairly positive start to life in the PL.

I like the fact that 10% of the PL are Welsh, as long as we finish above you. I shall watch the outcome of tomorrows meeting closely, but if I were you lot, I'd not worry too much, as these things seem to happen with monotonous regularity. If this carries on you'll soon be known as the Teflon Bluebirds.

Oh so you know whats happened at the club then?

care to enlighten us?

Don't you know? Its been all over the papers. As well as the quality stuff, it made the front page of the Sun even!

Anyhow, someone that Malky considered a friend and a valuable member of his team has been given his P45. Malky is said to be unhappy about this (well he would wouldn't he). I think that most would agree that, if this is the case, his position has been weakened and his authority undermined. I feel that Malky is the sort of bloke who will walk if what has been reported is credible. Time will tell.

DONT KNOW ANYTHING

like every other person here

we dont know why Moody was sacked

we dont know Malkys reaction to it

we dont know how Tan feels about Moody or Malky

all we know is mostly sensationalist nonsense written by journalists to sell newspapers.

I love this messageboard sometimes weve sacked one guy, now apparently everything is falling apart, were going to be bought by red bull and lose our identity all together

its pathetic

wait till the meeting tomorrow and see what is concluded out of that

OK, this is what someone at your club, who I like and respect has to say, has to say about what going on.

Bellamy dosnt say anything

all he says is Moody was good at his job and any club would benefit from his experience. not going to argue with that because I assume thats why Moody was employed other than he was a friend of Malky. Now you explain why he was sacked and ill take my opinion from that because there was obviously a reason and what ever that reason was it outshone the fact that he was very good at his job.

Some good points in this stream.

I think that MM has done a decent job to get us promoted but he was given plenty of resources to do so.

Now we seem to have Tan runnng out of cash when the game is just beginning.

Losing MM will not be the biggest issue but replacing him will

This is a huge statement of intent and purpose from Malky and his camp and shows they are going to come out fighting for what they believe in and the way in which they conduct themselves which is based on professionalism and integrity.

I fully believe that Malky would, and will if needed, explain all and face the wrath of the board even if it does land him the sack and I really do hope he is manager come the end of today.

Despite his falternigs in areas, he's young, hungry and the way in which he has built up this club is remarkable in 2 years.

VT get ready to step in the ring with the Big Scot, and if you flap about and lose the plot again, you'll have an even bigger fight on your hands with the fans!

Up the Bluebirds! In Malky we Trust! :malky:

You do Moody an injustice. In that article, Craig said more than he "was good at his job". What he actually said in that article is
"It's a huge loss for us because he's outstanding," said 34-year-old Bellamy.
"Any club with Iain Moody is a miles better club."

Apparently he wasn't sacked, but put on "gardening leave". That would suggest that there were no grounds to dismiss him.

There are two sides to this mess, and a lot of smoke and mirrors between. If Malky does go, no doubt he'll be required to sign a confidentiality clause, so I doubt if you'll ever get to know the whole truth.

I's your first season PL season and you should not have to put up with all this nonsense.

I dont expect anything to come out at all. If Malky stays and I hope he does then he will want full concentration on the football without distraction.
If he goes and I think that's more likely, he will be paid off after signing a confidentiality clause. If he coughs inner details he will breach that clause and not get paid.
Wtf has happened to bring about this internal skullduggery is anybodies guess and I reckon we'll still be guessing tomorrow.

I really Hope Malky stays but football is a fickle game and while there will be outrage if they brought in a big name manager and he started well then Malky will soon vbe forgotten.

Very likely.
