Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

But if you think Malky isn't good enough for this club then it is a very stupid opinion unworthy of any notice.

Before a ball had been kicked this season, I wouldn't have predicted 8 points from our first seven games. We've had a very tough start and we're ahead of schedule points wise. Can't believe how anyone can criticise that. If we'd have been more attacking against Everton, Spurs and Newcastle we would have been battered in all three games. As for the fella mentioning Hull are better than us, well I was at the KC for that game and we more than deserved that point and don't forget Marshall and Bellers were injured for that game and Theophile made his debut. Malky is doing a superb job and I will be devastated if he goes. In Malky we trust :malky: :malky:

If we were in the relegation zone people would say 'its only our first season in the Premier League and we are 2 points from safety after 7 games. Malky will eventually get it right'.

How bad does it have to get before we decide to make a change? QPR waited too long and in the end Harry couldn't stop the ship sinking.

Our wins against Man City and Fulham were terrible weren't they? I agree, we should have beaten them both a lot more comfortably, how bad does it have to get? Sack him now!

Southampton did not play hoofball ffs  Southamptons style is f**k all like Malkys.

And Norwich played with 2 attacking wingers in pilkington and bennet in their first season and were very positive especially at home.

Swansea attacked with wingers and players breaking the lines betwen midfield and attack andcertainly do NOT park the bus.

All 3 stayed up and kicked on largely due to their home form where they had a go at teams regardless of status.

Listening to you we shpuldnt even attack a Newcastle team who won 3 out of their last 23 away games. :rolk:

So to summarisr parking the bus and looking to get a set piece is NOT the only way to survive.

In fact id say its a sure fire way of going back down. Weve kept one clean sheet and failed to score in 3 games. We dont look like weve got goals in us, especially from open play which is absolutely shocking considering weve spent 35, yes THIRTY FIVE million.

I didn't say Southampton play hoofball!

What was the main reason Norwich's wingers come into play? From Holt leading the line, winning flick ons, linking the play etc.

Newcastle came 5th a couple of seasons ago, what gives us the right to think we can attack a team like Newcastle and destroy them? Football simply doesn't work like that, particularly in the Premiership.

If we can't win a game, the next best thing is to make sure we don't lose the game. Every point is vital and if we go out open and attacking against the majority of teams in the Premiership, they have the ability to destroy us if we give them the time and space because players in the Premiership are that good.

Not strictly true. Norwich also played through Wes Hoolahan and mixed it up and yes if they did play it up to Holt he had a presence and ability to bring others into play. Campbell is not that type of striker yet Malky tries to use him that way. A blind man can see that is not working.

Big f*cking deal if Newcastle finished 5th 2 years ago they have been shit away from home for 14 months and have been in turmoil for 2 seasons. We showed 2nd half once we decided to have a go that they could be got at sadly thanks to paying them far too much respect, and turnung the ball over to them we were 2 down and lucky it wasnt 5 or 6 tbh.

Besides, unless it escaped your notice we lost that game and we will continue to lose many more if we pay teams too much respect. You keep giving the ball away and defend as deep as we do and well get punished eventually.

I totally agree with you about showing teams too much respect. You're right about Hoolahan, but we have Kim, Whitts and Mutch who can get on the ball and create like Hoolahan. I also agree with Campbell, he would be far more useful playing off a target man but I still don't think we can afford to be as adventurous as 4-4-2 against the better teams in this division.

I know you think I'm sounding negative and you think we should attack teams more, but I said in a different thread about our Man City performance, which imo showed what we need to do all season. We can set ourselves up to be difficult to break down, but also get in their faces and break forwards to cause problems when we win possession. Gary Neville summed that performance up perfectly with his analysis and I think if we play every game like that this season, we will be fine.

Cmon fella Man City was a fluke.

Great result but for us to score 3 goals on a regular basis the way we set up it aint gonna happen.

I thought we just shaded the first half and more than matched Man City in the second half, although I accept if Kompany played instead of Javi Garcia, we would have lost that game. They wouldn't have conceded 2 headers from corners with Kompany on the pitch.

If Malky got sacked then we would get relegated, no doubt.
