:? Do you honestly think that replacing Moody (who hasn't been sacked, but placed on gardening leave) with a 23 year old work experience boy, who was painting the stadium in the summer, is right??

Get off the guys back you and nobody else know anything about him . He could be a fantastically educated young man who will be a major asset to our club . Just because he is 23 doesn't make it a bad appointment FFS . Neither does the fact he did a bit of painting in the stadium .
Karen Brady at brum is a perfect example she is now vice chairman at west ham !

This latest fiasco surely proves that he couldnt care less.

Yes, he does. That's why he gave out free red scarves & tried bribing people with free season tickets.

He also told fans at the supporters club end of season dinner that fans should be wearing red and not singing the blues.

Its what he wants but lets face it, he could totally eradicate the blue if he wanted, he hasnt, which IMO shows hes not overly bothered. Guess we just think differently.

No thanks. he has absolutely no footballing experiences what so ever & yet is supposed to be in charge of football recruitment now?

Even a sit in at half time just singing that would be a big statement and would be nice for malky :malky:

He would be in the dressing room & very busy at that point...

So he can't hear 25k fans chanting his name from the dressing room ?

Pretty sure he would be concentrating on his job at that point, not trying to make out what fans are saying... He certainly wouldn't be able to see you all sitting. :laughing6:

Villas boas had no experiance until bobby Robson met him at 16 and made him a manager by the time he was 21 .
Mourinho was a high school coach until once again bobby Robson met him , he is now one of the most succesful managers ever
Karen Brady youngest female board member ever in English football at 23 now vice chairman at west ham

They didn't work out to badly did they

No other groups have asked him to reconsider the rebrand then ? Not even in a different more diplomatic way ?
Have the trust done nothing ? The supporters club ? Individual people who don't support b/u ?

Exactly, it was the managers choice... Tan has drafted in his son's mate - meddling with the football side... Not good. Malky is rightly angry.

Nothing to do with the manager , Robson took a chance on two youngsters and gave them the opportunity to shine . It's exactly what tan is doing with this guy . I know I was never lucky enough to be given that type of opportunity at that age but I know for a fact I would never have turned the job down .
Age means f**k all if he's good enough he's good enough end of story and I hope he does really well in his new position and wish him all the luck in the world .

I know I've got no business here but a lot of us Watford fans have a lot of time for Malky, so we have an interest...
Some of the guff written by the Tan apologists on here have made me revise my opinions on how dumb people can be. Still, they may be right; by a lucky (red?) coincidence, Tan Jr was best mates at his Swiss finishing school with the next Andre Villas-Boas. Who knew nothing about football before coming to his mate's dad's company for a summer job to paint the walls, but is luckily a quick learner.

Amazing.

The fact that he had no experience in football WHATSOEVER makes me think that he wouldn't be very good to be head of recruitment for the upcoming transfer window (which could be vital in keeping us up!)

Now, what have you heard that can counter that and show that he could be good?

Very silly statements these, we should not be turning this into a them and us situation, we must hope that Malky and Tan can come to a compromise and move forward together. If Tan were to pull out or pull back now, then having Malky becomes immaterial, as he would leave one way or the other. We have to accept that Cardiff is Tans club now and either go along with all that he wants or walk away, I don't think there's any in between. The time for standing up came and went and, you Annis, like all the other high profile supporters backed Tan.
The best we can hope for now, is that we can cement our place in this league under Tan and hopefully Malky and in the not to distant future, Tan becomes bored of this little venture and sells us onto someone who is more in tune with local supporters and Welsh and British football and culture.

Re: " MALKY MACKAY "

This isn't about red or blue, this is about Tan interfering in the good work done by Malky and his staff. Stop trying to make these issues the same because they are not.

The 23 year old, not everyone knows about him but I do and he is a ridiculous appointment (anyone on this board would do a better job) and knows absolutely nothing and the less time he is at the club disrupting it, the better.

VT has been getting more and more interfering lately and we need to let him know that whilst we are grateful that he saved the club and has invested so much, that this is a line he cannot cross.

If he is worried about overspending then he should have had the nous to realise that wages and agents fees also come into play in transfer activity. I'd be amazed if that was the really the problem, the real problem is that VT wants to control as much as possible and it is overlapping duties of people doing great jobs that actually know what they are doing.

VT might know a lot about making business work in Malaysia, but he knows very little about football and should let the people who know what they are doing, do it.
