I don't think it's about the money, it's the principal, the dishonesty, the being lied to. If you were promised say, £2 (a tiny amount of money) and that individual broke that promise, you would lose respect for that person for lying wouldn't you? Would you then feel you can give your all for that person?

Apparently, it wasnt about an unpaid bonus it was the players were not happy with the amount of bonus being offered at the end of the coming season.

Apparently they werent happy that the bonus being offered for staying in the division was less than what they got for winning the championship.

So yeah, if that is the truth they are a bunch of mercenaries.

If i was Tan I would say fine. ill give you a massive bonus if you stay up but if yuou get relegated you own me the same back.

That's fair enough, I don't know the ins and outs but if the players are kicking up a fuss over that, then they are being completely out of order. Very disappointing.

What a strange decision that would be.. Leading up to one of the most important transfer windows in our history & we put some nobody in charge of recruiting players?! One that happens to be mates with his son?

:laughing6:

You keep burying your head in the sand if you want.

Not burying my head, unlike you're goodself, im not jumping to conclusions.

If you think MM doesnt know exactly who hes going after in January then you are bonkers. MM has said before they plan 2/3 windows in advance.

So what if Moody has noticed a player who has caught his eye the past week, was planning on watching him play a few times more and he turns into a superstar? And what players will Malky know about after the 2/3 transfer windows apart from Kazahkstan internationals? Fair play, the way you stick up for Tan even when he makes idiotic decisions like this to ruin our club is bonkers!

Moody may have deserved to be sacked, nobody knows yet, but to replace him with SIMON LIM'S FRIEND WHO KNOWS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT FOOTBALL? It's bloody pathetic and to me, it seems like an attempt from Tan to unsettle Malky to try and force him out!

Take some valium, jesus.

Im not sticking up for or condeming anybody until we know the facts and not the jackanory posted on a messageboard.

The fact is Moody has been suspended for whatever reason and been replaced with someone who knows nothing about football. I'm not going to try explaining that to you again.

How do you know Moody is suspended is fact?

The replacement is "acting" not permanent.

To be fair, all the players we lost out on decided to move to bigger clubs than us. If a player chose to join for example, Hull or Palace, then I would be worried, but Capoue chose Tottenham instead of us, Tan chose not to pay the couple of million extra for Wanyama, Ince stayed at home with his new born baby, Montero's agent got greedy. I don't think you can really blame Moody for any of those.

From the deals this summer, the only one who you can really say is a flop currently is Cornelius, but he's had 2 injuries since joining in us and I don't think we have seen him play for us 100% fit. Velikonja has been a massive flop but I think all of our other signings have contributed to get us to where we are now.

We failed to sign a winger we are crying out for and we also wasted 1.3m on John Brayford.

Nobody knows the details.

According to WOL Moody has been suspended and hes left his post.... they have no idea, like us on here just feeding off scraps until the club make a statement.

finally someone with some common sense

Common sense? Please explain how replacing Moody (like everyone else, I have no clue why he has been suspended) with someone who has NO KNOWLEDGE ON FOOTBALL WHATSOEVER is common sense?

we dont know why hes suspended, acting generally means temporary, lets wait and see before people jump to conclusions.

Moodys job needs to be filled, I dont know how intensive our recruitment is and maybe we do need someone holding the reigns, as stated this guy has shadowed Moody so if nothing else he knows how our recruiting system works so may be ale to keep the ship steady until we find a suitable replacement.

Again we dont know why Moody has been suspended, when we do know why we can either stick it to Tan or praise him in a difficult situation.

It's being reported everywhere, they wouldn't all get this wrong. To be fair, it does say this rookie will be replacing Moody in an acting capacity. Like everyone else, I don't know why Moody has been sacked, but whoever replaces him should have been Malky's decision, baring in mind Tan supposedly doesn't interfere with football matters. Even in an acting capacity, the decision to bring in a friend of Simon Lim's who knows absolutely nothing about football is absolutely incredible. It's turning into a Malaysian Welsh FA with a "jobs for the boys" culture.

Agreed we desperately needed a winger. Odemwingie is a striker trying to do a job on the wing, but we really needed a natural winger with pace, creativity and a good end product. I wouldn't really blame Malky spending 1.3m on Brayford just yet as he's been Derby's player of the year the past couple of seasons and I initially thought we got him at a very good price as I rated him from the little I saw of him before he joined us. But he didn't overly impress me at Accrington in his natural right back role and I thought he was at fault for the first 2 goals at West Ham playing as centre back. I think Brayford should be loaned out to show what he can do as he isn't going to displace Theo at the moment.

maybe chris.more likely the reason is the bloke who is supposed to be head honcho at the club don,t really give a stuff for cardiff city or its employees.even if this moody fellow has been suspended/removed for breaching his contract does anyone seriously believe malky would say bring in a kid from abroad who knows zilch about football but it will be ok cos he,s a friend of the ruling hierarchy?time for the masses to stand up and say enough is enough.

Exactly, until the club release a statement then what is the point in speculating, for all we know it might be justified, it might not. The argument over bonuses should not of been leaked out , who did that ? Mmmm

Re: None of us have got a clue

Brayford loaned out to show what he can do??

He is 26 years old and been Derbys player of the year for last 2 seasons, I dont think he has anything to prove at championship level (Which is where he would have to go on loan).

Without researching which i havent got time was he also in the PFA championship team of the year??

If hes not good enough for the PL then he shouldnt have been recruited in the first place and the buck stops with Moody and Malky and that one.

Being loaned out to a Championship club and playing well is a lot better than playing well at a far lesser level in the development squad. I think Brayford has the ability to do a job in the Premiership, but I think he does need a kick up the backside and I think a loan move so he can play first team games and be happier might do that.

Re: None of us have got a clue

Wed Oct 09, 2013 10:10 am

A kick up the backside? hes only been here a strawberry season.

Up until he signed for us he had been playing well and confidence was high. So why does he have to go out to prove that again??!??

Hes obviosuly been brought in and now Malky doesnt fancy him.

FFS why cant you apologists ever admit that Malky or his team get things wrong.

When I say a kick up the backside, I mean he's failed to impress at Accrington and West Ham, so get out on loan, play first team games, play well, show why we've paid 1.3m and rejoin us with a new found confidence and belief that he can break into our starting 11. Even if Brayford went out on loan, impressed but still couldn't break into our team, managers would see him playing first team football and be alerted to his availability, so I think loaning him out would be a wise move.

At the end of the day only a few people actually know what is going on, everything else is speculation.

Is Moody doing a good job? How many people on here were criticising the long drawn out recruitment procedure which many blame for us missing out on targets? After this long thorough process how many millions were spent on players not good enough (Brayford, Velikonja, possibly cornelious)? Maybe Tan is pissed off like many of us were at how many players we lost out on?

Or am I talking shit and just speculating like everyone else
