For at least £20m. Young, English, brilliant central defender. How much for Ferdinand? And how long ago? Definately a prized asset.

I don't think he would benchwarm at all, but each to their own.

He'd get game time of course.He's far too good not to and especially with our hectic schedule this season thus far.But he'd have a job on his hands dislodging Chico and Ash at this moment in time.

obviously you have seen both players a lot more than us, but when i have seen chico he hasnt looked inspiring to say the least, and also caulker was only 19? when you had him.

I didn't say Chico was the better player.What i said and mean was Chico and Ash as a pairing have a great understanding and work very well together.In time and if we'd have signed caulker then im pretty sure he'd force his way into the first team one way or another.But if we had signed him at the start of the season,there's no way Laudrup would have dropped either Chico or Ash to accommodate Caulker.

Well AVB is looking to build a team of stars, I doubt he isn't bothered about Caulker and is looking more bigger.
