Why ?
Because it gives priority to those travelling on yours (and other) coaches who are able to reserve their place, and therefore their ticket, over those who wish to travel under their own steam.
I must say Carl he does have a point. What if I decided to book on your coach to go to Man Utd?
Gary do you need a ticket ?![]()
I will try my best for you

Seems a pretty unfair way of dealing with those of us who follow City home and away from outside Wales
I have been doing the coaches for 4 seasons and I can count on one hand the number of games in that time that we have not filled the coach.
Last season alone I run at least one coach to every game bar one and they were always full.
Some games I run two coaches to games and on a few occasions I run 3.
This season I have run 7 coaches in total to the 3 away games.
I am not getting an unfair advantage over anyone, what I am doing is taking the hassle out of sorting the tickets of each and everyone who travels with me, they don't have to queue, phone or collect their tickets from the club, there is no booking fee for them to pay either.
The people that travel with me deserve their ticket as much as the next fan because they are there supporting the team week in and week out.

It doesn't seem the same as has always been though? As tickets don't go on sale to season ticket holders who are not able to travel with organised coaches, until 8 days after others have already reserved theirs, surely that's not fair and it certainly hasn't been happening for years, as this is our first season in the Premiership, so it's unique. Just because supporters choose to travel on organised coaches should not give supporters an advantage over other supporters, who either choose to travel independently or like myself and many others who live outside Wales, can't travel on the organised supporters coaches.
I'm particularly pissed off about the ticket situation at Norwich, because this game and Ipswich are like local games for me, as it's within 90 minutes and I've watched all of them since we have been in the Championship and they are relatively and understandably poorly attended by City fans. Last year at Ipswich as a prime example when only 250 were there. This crap about some supporters deserving tickets over others gets on my nerves, I'm a season ticket holder, who travels 200 miles each way to home games, am I more deserving of a ticket than the next STHolder? No of course not. We all pays our money in the same way and so should ALL be treated equally.

I think you have misunderstood my post.
I did not say that anybody travelling on organised supporters coaches deserve a ticket more than anyone else but I have explained the majority who travel with myself are regular away supporters so they are as much deserving of a ticket as the next fan.
You don't get special treatment by travelling with organised travel, you still have to qualify like all other city fans.
All I have done is take names of 100 qualifying fans and will present that list to the club.
This is hypothetical but what if you rang the club or went there on the first day of sale for any game and took with you a list of 50 qualifying fan numbers and bought the tickets for those people in one transaction, would that be wrong of you ?
That is basically what the travel group is doing and it does not stop anybody getting a ticket who does not qualify for one.
Another point would be, imagine the club took the 2640 tickets and sold them all but there was still another 1000 who wanted to go, what happens then ?
The truth is the travel group is not a new thing or a closed shop and those who are entitled to buy tickets can do so and I will go as far as to say we will not sell the Norwich tickets out in the first couple of days if we do sell out at all, which will prove the club to be correct in their decision of requesting just 1,400 tickets.

I'd say being given the opportunity to reserve and claim a ticket before they go on general sale is "specialist treatment"...

If you qualify then you have as much chance as the next.

It's nothing to do with qualifying to purchase, you are totally missing my point.. It's about being able to reserve tickets way before anyone else can purchase them on general sale. In fact, nobody can reserve them at all.
So I think it's fair to say that those who travel on those coaches are given "specialist treatment", despite you saying otherwise.
