their so embarrassed because only 40 turned up

I don't think anyone is embarrassed. They've had meetings where over 700 turned up & nothing could be discussed.. 40 is the perfect number for a debate.

Also, you seem to be under the illusion that Bakerbluebird is the spokesman of BU.. Again, you're incorrect.

Bu called on as many supporters to turn up as possible to voice their opinion on the way forward, the fact only 40 turned up would set alarm bells ringing and I'd be a bit concerned to say the least.

They've had numbers at plenty of other meetings.. I'm sure that there were many that wanted to attend, but couldn't. Some people do have other commitments, you know. :laughing6:

If you don't agree with them, why are you looking at their sites for quotes and PR? :?

You have to agree that numbers are dwindling surely ?

Maybe they need a fresh approach

Only 30/40 people at both of the last 2 events are not encouraging signs

No, I don't have to agree anything.

Isn't that the normal number for a quiz night? I'd hardly expect 1,000 to attend a quiz night. :laughing5:

Furthermore, I've attended a group meeting (700 in attendance) an a small committee meeting (12 in attendance) for BU.. Guess which one was a waste of my time and which one was productive?

You guessed it.

But surely you need enough numbers to give constructive views and opinions, not just a core of people

This is not a dig in any form!!

If there is only a small core people deciding the best way forward,do they inform every other member before acting?

Oh...
I could of sworn it was being held elsewhere this time because people from Port Talbot ish way had to keep travelling this way for meetings so I thought BU were mixing it up abit...

Obviously I didn't attend  But as Chuckles has said, it isn't embarrasing really if 700 odd people usually go to the meetings.
Did you know that over 1,000 people went on the march aswell?

Seriously,

Anyone criticising those who are actively seeking a return to our proper colorus with a bluebird proudly on our chests needs to have a long look in a mirror.

No real Cardiff City supporter would have any problem whatsoever with our proper colours. It's a totally ridiculous and unacceptable position for any City fan to take.

We should-and surely are?-to varying degrees be pro blue.

Yes seriously

The issue is dying a sad and lonely death.
Now bring on Newcastle.

If the numbers are dwindling I believe it's because of other peoples negativity shown, so those on the fence are swayed to the red side. Or people aren't seeing enough effect and are giving up? Who knows, but I do hope they're successful

Child.

Exactly how am I ambarrassing?
Surely the fans who are willing to sit there and abuse fans who believe that a colour and identity of a club is important are the embarrassing ones?

Personally, I find what Sian has done rather inspirational. She has brought thousands of fans together.

Did you not see the ratio of Blue:Red in the away end at Fulham? - the vast majority of fans wore blue whilst only around about 50-80 fans wore red.
