Cracking goal! Justice is done - a point would have been good away but this was a game we really should have won - and we did.

Good shift by all. Including the travelling fans.

Great win and the fact that Gunnarsson played more advanced today proved that Malky is bucking up his ideas. It allowed us to create space in the midfield and dominate play and stretch Fulham so when we switched it we often had Taylor or Theo in loads of space to cross.

Only negative today was the lack of clinical finishing but its nice to finally see some attacking intent and common sense from Malky. No Gestede today as what Campbell was doing was working so he made a like for like switch bringing on Maynard. Kim was starting to get roughed up so he brought on a stronger and more direct Mutch which was a better choice than Cowie and it paid off.

They're the rewards you get for being more attacking and taking risks. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Or maybe we could do it as Fulham aren't as good as man city, Everton or spurs.................

More attacking, which is what most normal realistic fans expected against teams on our level. Its only against far superior teams we have tried to contain, with quite good success.

Exactlly its the first game bar Hull that we have had a chance to actually play attacking football. Great result though :ayatollah:

Man City got beat again today as did Man United by teams who don't play the same way as us. Anything is possible in this league and teams have played against the top teams and been better than them on the day. At times vs Man City we passed around them, one time being the build up to Kim's run and goal. More of that and we can start getting a rhythm going and stretching teams.

Every game in this league is hard. Every game in this league is winnable. We have good passers in the team in Kim, Mutch, Medel and Whittingham and with the right tactics as deployed today and sensible subs we can dominate games for spells even against the top teams.

As the season goes by most of us will come to accept this.

The difference is they are established PL sides. We are 6 games into our first season where many of our players have never played before. We may have good passers in out team, but the top teams have much better and I think you're going to be disappointed of you think we will dominate possession against the very best
