It looked like he was elbowed from where I was, tough ga,e for up against Townsend and walker and that sub, lets not forget they have just added over £100 million worth of players to an already very strong squad, and they are starting to click as a team.

I think people are thinking that I don't know how good a team Tottenham are which is completely incorrect. What I am saying is that doing the basics as being goal side of an attacking player and going in strong for a challenge even if its just to make it harder for the opposition player is not what Taylor done. The way he was 'brushed off easily' (IMO) in that challenge is the reason for my heading and I make no apologies because of it.

Just in case you don't understand Andrew Taylor was pushed in run up to goal. A push is against the rules and a free kick should be awarded.

Last season Andrew Taylor proved to be a decent Championship full back.

Agree with this. Taylor has been pretty consistent over the last season or so and Malky seems to rate him. Rather than getting on his back, try supporting him instead.

We all have 'favourites' in the team but that should never detract from supporting every player when they are giving 100% for the cause and so far this season I've not seen any shirkers (not on the field anyway)

Wasn't it Lamela who beat him to the header? Think tiredness may have come into it with Taylor having defended so well for 90+ mins and Lamela having been on 15?

Just wish he would get tighter to his opponent,i dont think hes the best at man marking IMO
