Polo I was reading something yesterday about the Broadwater Farm Estate which as most would remember was probably one of the roughest parts of London in the 80's. Nowadays its classed as one of the most culturally diverse areas of North London with one of the lowest crime rates in London, so much so, they've shut the police station there cos they had nothing to do!

With the restrictions on social security paying private rent, Brixton is becomming gentrified by midlleclass professionals. Future ghettos will spring up on the outskirts of London just like Paris. I think the kids today watch topboy and play far toomuch grand theft auto.

I can't comment on this case but youngsters these days casually talk about knifing people on thetrain all the time , not just the odd group but i hear loads on the train. Not all kids, but those likely to bully often bouncing around likethey're on rap video will bring knives into it. The sort of shit you hear isenough to,make you start tooling up for the train journey to and from work just incase it comes a tumble from a few of them school bullies on a -hype-ting ya get me blud?

Brixton is cosmopololitan as f**k these days, my sister works there, and lives just outside., I was there just a few weeks ago and trust me, the streets of Brixton are far safer than some places in Merthyr I could name.

Polo i agree Brixton is not bad at all i did a few work runs there and i was shocked at how decent the people were and the area wasn't as bad as i expected..

Up there they seem to decide on an area that they will make "trendy" and develop it, house prices and rents go through the roof and it pushes the scumbags further and further out of London.

Mitchell is the worse ive seen. I stayed in Wimbledon once and had to drive through there to get to my sisters. Probably what Brixton was 30 years ago.
