A jack mate who is planning on going told me that they have at least one charter flight from Cardiff going but at a whopping £350 just for the seat - nothing else included. Seems expensive, but I suspect they will sell out as its a big game for them.

Don't think we would have that problem if we had a European game, don't think we have ever had a problem even when we were in the doldrums of the basement division.

So because people don't travel with the official travel club that means there's no interest from our fans?

I went to Malmo and paid £180 for flights and accommodation for 2 nights. TMG sports (official travel) were offering 1 nights stay and flight for £645. It's a rip-off.

in defence of swans fans not many people use official outlets for travel to Europe as to expensive! far cheaper independently booking travel, so guess is most done it that way! :old:

a lot of my jack mates are going so I cant see why people are saying otherwise.... My saturday swansea league team are really struggling to name 2 sides when we have over 60 players signed on.... and we normally have 3 teams with a lot of depth as there are a number of students involved.

I know a lot are either going to alicante or barcelona as its only a hour or 2 away from these places.

But lets hope this gets them a hammering and a few injuries ;)

17 coaches going from benidorm to valencia on Thursday morning. Official travel my arse. Why the f**k are some of you lot always so desperate to get one over on us. Lets be honest your strike rate is piss poor. You would think you would have learnt a lesson by now.

I know we are rivals and point scoring is part and parcel but ffs the shit on here is laughable.

What the original poster fails to mention is that we have sold 2100 tickets in the away end, and over 400 in the designated end for those who are unable to climb the 19 flights of steps or suffer from a fear of heights. So we are taking in excess of 2500 and that has been confirmed.

The reason there was no interest in the club package was the price, it was 350 for one night. For that most of us have got 5 nights in Valencia or Benidorm flights and transfers so there was no wonder no one wanted to go on the official travel because it was a rip off.

Yeah, I don't think there will be a shortage of Swans fans out there. As for organising official travel, I guess that's because as soon as the fixtures were finalised, most of the lads I know were straight on the internet booking their own flights out there?

The club's official travel partner were unable to offer a package for the Valencia game as they were unable to charter an aircraft at an economic rate.

Sorry to have to put some fact on here in amongst all the drivel, but the club's official partner did not organise a trip to Valencia as they could not charter an aircraft at an economic rate.

I think your source may not actually "close" to the club, as its at odds to what I've heard, and I'm not a magenta bird supporter, living forty miles away.

Anyhow, when do you think you'll have a chance to play in Europe, and prove your point?

They've sold just over 1,000 tickets. Below average support. We'd take 3,000 to Valencia without a shadow of a doubt

There'll be more jacks on here thursday night than in the Mestalla

Lets see how many they take to Krasnodor.

The egg chasers have bolstered their support just like when Wales took 8k to Italy in the San siro.

You didnt even take 3000 to Hull on a weekend game that would have cost £90, let alone to Spain in midweek that with time off work will cost closer to £400-£500

So you only go if its a nice place against a good club?

You support the club not the opposition. The premier league is a bigger competition yet you dont sell out in a weekend that would cost £90 all in all, yet reckon you would sell out 3,000 going to spain midweek taking time off work at the cost of a season ticket

Sell out your league games and we will talk then
