Since we moved to the CCS, we can count our good atmospheres on one hand, before the prem our atmosphere was so woeful you could hear the players calling for the ball so acting like its the norm is a little disingenuous. We have the premier league new boys factor, just like they did when they were promoted, its up to us to keep that going at the level we have seen so far.

Lets talk about Spurs eh?

I did enjoy the game. Yes, second half you deserved to win I thought... After you did a job on Coutinho.

Bony looked poor again though. I'd be a bit concerned if I were you. That Pouzelo lad looks a decent player.

Yep, goal music is bloody awful.

You said the atmosphere was perfectly fine, but to all us that have 100% hearing it clearly wasn't  To be fair there was abit of noise when swansea levelled 2-2, but besides that it was like a morgue, whereas when we were down 1-0 to man city, our fans were still loud as f**k. Your only sing when your winning comes to mind, or drawing even :laughing6:

from where i was coutinho did a job on himself he leapt about 6ft in the air and knackered his shoulder, thought bony did ok nothing amazing though but he does need to start showing a bit more
pozuelo is going to be a cracking player
talking to a couple of scousers after the game and they were saying they have done it a couple of times this season where they have played badly second half but hung on for the points , they looked knackered last half hour

Yep and it was perfectly fine. Normal level for a premier league game.

You are loud because you are in your first season, as were we. Prior to two games ago you were rallying people with thread upon thread on how to create any sort of chant let alone a good atmosphere.

So in summary Roathie, the atmosphere at the liberty is dull and nobody has ever commented on it as they've waxed lyrical about ours this season

Tune into Sundays game. Another occasion the country will be bragging up. Next season we'll have 15,000 more than you too

These are the true facts. :laughing6:

We were the talk of the premier league with our atmosphere in the first season. It slowly wanes as you no longer are the plucky underdog.

Im amazed if you genuinely think you will have 15,000 more at your stadium next year

I don't recall any pundits waxing lyrical about Swansea like they were about Cardiff in their first season..

The last promoted side that were commented on for their atmosphere was Stoke. That's a few years ago now.

As for the 15k more, why not? If we stay up its totally realistic. I feel that we will stay up and get 35k next season.

It was very similar in praise, the atmosphere was electric. With expectancy comes nerves and with nerves comes a bit more of a subdued atmosphere, hence why you couldnt get a chant going last year.

We will have expanded by next year according to Huw in the fans forum a few days ago. I think you would max out at about 29,000 - 30,000. However o genuinelly think you will be in the championship getting 18,000-20,000.

I never heard any such praise.. Nor did I see any atmosphere worth such praise... So I think you're on your own with that one.

I haven't seen any coverage on you expanding, apart from that the club would like to do it. Not even got permission yet?

We wouldn't max out at 29k - we've taken more to Wembley, so to suggest that is a bit silly really.

We got more in the championship last season, so wouldn't drop that low even if relegated.

Yeah, your 200 other usernames told us Leicester would be champions last season and after the opening day at West Ham you expertly tried to patronise everyone by announcing that the swans were light years ahead of us

as a swansea supporter i would say the atmosphere is ok , as with every other team when your under pressure or getting beaten it does dip and it's not as loud as it was in our first season but is ok as far as i'm concerned then again thereis a football game going on and i tend to concentrate on that not the songs we're singing in the stands

Well thats you. Im certainly not on my own  the praise for the atmosphere was certainly an ever present and rightly so.

Taking fans to wembley and filling league matches is completely different otherwise wed have a 55,000 stadium. The planning permission is in to start work in the summer and swansea are currently sorting out with the council the best way to sort out the transport around the expansion.
