Watching one of my favs right now

Platoon!!!

That's my favourite, Top sound track but could do with being 2 hours longer with The Doors played.

Favourite Character in that film is the well meaning, straight laced,trigger happy youngster who seems to get stronger amongst all the death and destruction, while all the 'cooler' older men slowly disintergrate into dribbling wrecks.

Dead Mans Shoes. £723k budget and a British masterpiece. Brilliant performances all round and best revenge film ever made. I just wish they would have shown how Richard (Paddy Considine) offed the guy he put in the suitcase. What I liked about it was the guys he's come back for could be the scum from almost any town or city in the UK. When they first aired it on Film4, I watched it twice, back-to-back, its that good. May watch it later.

Completely agree. If I had to pick one film only, this would be it. Even the soundtrack with Calexico and Aphex Twin is perfect.
