Piss taking aside gents, genuinely how many would we get for this type of fixture?

Interested, how many on here would go?

Re: FAIR PLAY TO SWANSEA

2 Premiership games gone and you've had your result of the season and very well done on that.Great performance.Come back with comments like ' we've more points than you', in January, when the league has settled down more.We always had a tough start, the day the fixtures come out. so there's no surprises, just yet.

I think things will be a lot tighter between both clubs than most expected, what with you signing Caulker and in particular Medel but i still think we're the better equipped side with more quality running through it once we settle down to finish a bit more comfortably than you.

And remember, one swallow doesn't make a summer :D

Fair comment. You may have a bigger squad but the Europa league draw will be crucial. If you end up with a group based in Western Europe you'll probably be fine as the travelling wont be too bad. A team or 2 with 5 hour journey could screw you up. Not saying you will get relegated but you have lost 3 out of 4 and losing can become a habit. If you have a long Europa run and a few cap 1 cup games I can see you in bottom 6 towards end of season and it could be squeaky bum time. Injuries to key personnel (michu, bony) could potentially cause a relegation battle.

Equally we are reliant on a fit squad and keeping our momentum going from last season as long as possible otherwise we could be in trouble

You're not as good as you think you are. 7 defeats in your last 9 PL games. Established side? :D

Word is, serious questions about the £13m you've flittered away on the new Jason Scotland are being frequently asked. Hope everything works out for you though :)

I'd be impressed with that, fair play if it was achieved, there is no way I could make, or justify that type of game to the Mrs, or family on a sensible budget :ayatollah:

Our league form is a slight worry but we've played Man Utd and Tottenham,2 sides who we've never beaten since we've been up here and did'nt really expect to do this time either.West Brom is a bigger game for us on Sunday and will give us a better idea of where we're at.We usually do ok up there and with Bony starting we might kickstart on.Early days yet and while your win v Citeh was a great one,to repeat it again and get to the magic 40 points is a long way away. You do look decent enough but going back to the start of this thread, what a load of wank :D

I don't doubt that, but did it ultimately make any difference to the result? No, not one jot.

It was on a Sunday if i remember and live on Sky.We'd been there the season before and although disappointing, it wasn't surprising. We 're not the biggest club in the league, as we keep getting reminded, just a tough, tight little unit, that doesn't give a f**k.We're also a pretty decent team who no one likes playing :D

One league goal in a total of about 75 mins and it being against the Champions. Aye clearly evidence to proclaim he's rubbish :laughing6:

It had nothing to do with a cup final mentality. Expert tactics and lots of style against a top two side in the UK. We now know we can compete up here
