Cardiff in write off player before he's completed 90mins shocker.

Maybe he was nursing an injury before he went off?

Honestly you lot only need a sniff before: Bellamy, Whitts, Hudson, Kim, Taylor etc etc are out the door.

His bullet header at forest green was really good as well. I did doubt him at first, but lets forget about his price tag and support him the best we can, I'm sure he's gonna develop a lot better than rudy ! :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I bet those dodgy touches are down to nervousness, it's a very high chance that a 20 yr old foreigner with a big price tag is gonna take a little while to feel comfortable and relaxed. Over in Denmark he had nothing to really prove compared to what us fans are expecting from him..... I hope he does well (but, he got nothing on Campbell !!.. Campbell is the BOY !)

Your idea of getting on someones back is totally different to mine. Just because someone says something against you does not mean they are on your back. F**k me everyone would be on my back if I thought that.

If he had been playing for us for a while, I can understand you saying it, but after all he has had to go through IMO a bit quick to call him a bad signing :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

There are good pundits, bad pundits and indifferent pundits.

The best pundits are the ones who do research on a team and its players, its tactics, its statistics and then are able to factor the facts into the game they are commenting on.

Carragher knew about City's strength from set plays last season. Neville had worked out City's ploy of 2 banks of 4 and players working for each other. Schmeichel was equally aware of City's attributes.

Dowie was just commenting without any real research and just showed the gulf of quality between him and good pundits.

Re: Was Ian Dowie right?

No he was not. Dowie really has not got a clue and that is the reason why he is a reporter dor Sky Sports Soccer Saturday and not a manager, not even League 2 clubs have any interest in him. With foreign players i think that they should be judged after their first season at a club in another country, not after a handful of games and without a full pre season. Listen this kid is going to be a BIG player for us in the next few years. You don't play in the Champions League at the age 19 for FC Copenhagen or Denmark's first choice Striker, without having something about you. The only reason he isnt in their squad at the moment is because of his injuries in pre season, the start of the season and of course from last night.

Bloooooobirds.

Some of the bollocks in this thread is bewildering.

Its the lads competitive debut, he was brought back from an injury as Malky has said and he is in a new country and will need to adapt to the style of play. He picked up a knock ffs, get over it, its a SPORT FFS WHAT DO YOU EXPECT?

Medel looked ok vs West Ham but let his man go twice and we got punished for it. Nobody went nuts then and then in the Man City game he was arguably the third best player on the pitch after Whittingham and Campbell. The week in training and time on the pitch proved to be a factor. It will eventually be the same with Cornelius when the time is right.

But when I bought him on FIFA 13 he scored three times in two games. What you think about that?

Far to early to judge him, we have had many a good player struggle in the lower league cup games.
He certainly won't be the finished article yet but he will need time and with the right attitude he will improve.

Irrelevant of his form I'd still like a good striker come in.

Dowie was the bloke who done our game on sky the day we played West Ham,he said that the Hammers had dominated possession the whole game, the BBC however said that we had 53% of the game so what does he know. And as said earlier in this thread if he was any good he'd be managing a Premier team nt talking to Jeff Stelling every Saturday

Im too good at FIFA that I've been banned at playing because " apparently " its a chore playing me and not nice or entertainment at all. There are only 2 of my mates who will play against me. I went 3-0 up against my mate in 6 minutes the other day and he quit.

:laughing6:

FIFA isn't a game. Its serious business. 8-)

Nobody can be judge on half a game,he might have played shit ,but let's give him time to settle, before he gets judged

Last night Dowie, criticised Cornelius regarding his first touch, also had ago at Cornelius that he was playing against a Division 2 club and was in one way saying that he was not good at all. Then Dowie went to far in my opinion and virtually said Cornelius was prob happy to come off

Did Dowie go to far over the top on Cornelius last night or was Dowie right to?

Annis, Dowie was well out of order. He's never been the same since they axed the making of The Hills Have Eyes 3

Not much work out there for an ageing Hillbilly ;) :ayatollah:

Good job we beat man City otherwise some fans would have wanted player sales to save money for our certain relegation lol
