I think the truth is amoungst all these posts somewhere. He is no where near as bad as some people make out but he also isn't as good as some people make out.
He can do some good work but can also be woeful. I can see the use in him being in and around the squad though from time to time.

Wow he gave a team 92nd in the league a tough time.

Until he starts doing it against the likes of Arsenal and not Accringron then he hasnt proved anyone wrong.

I was there last night and I must say, Rudy looked a much better player than Cornelius. Some would be worried by that comment, but I like to think it shows the excellent progress Rudy is making. Rudy is much better in the air than Cornelius and currently, seems to give defenders a tougher time. I fear Cornelius despite being tall, still has a lot to learn and needs to bulk up further and use his size to hold defenders off to win headers and link the play.

I too was there last night, and this post pretty much echoes exactly what I thought. Mutch and Noone were very good too and Conway's control when he came on was excellent and livened up the left side when he replaced Smith.

Well Barry chuckle in that case so was cornel ious expected to play well but he didn't ....think as I stated he will do a Hudson ...lots on here now agreeing he's improving all the time ....you obviously didn't see the game last night ..or you've already made up your mind and won't/can't b e seen to change .....how about recognising as lots on here have said he is improving ,,you can not just keep saying he's shit or not good enough with out backing it up ...what I said about his game yesterday is fact not fiction ...glad Malkys opinion is opposite to yours and I prefer to agree with his as that s what counts not yours

No, I didn't see the game last night, but I hardly think a good performance against the team that's 92nd out of 92 clubs in the league ladder suddenly warrants him to good enough.

I'd expect Rudy to have a good game. Yes, he's improved since he came here (impossible to get any worse tbh!) but that still doesn't mean that he's good enough for our team. He's League 1 at best.

There are lots on here that also agree with me. I'm glad you agree with Malky's decision, because its clear to me that he's "last resort" to Malky and clearly so.. Remember when he hauled him off at half time as he was so shit in his only start last season?

The guy is a donkey and is not premiership standard. If he ever becomes a regular starter in this team, it will be because we've dropped levels, not him improving levels.

100% agree chucks,Rudy is shocking by premier standards,for a big lad he's as shit in the air as he is with the ball to his feet. One of Malky's worst signings IMHO.

I agree, I thought Mutch controlled the middle and Noone stood out with his sharpness. Conway has been excellent pre season and put in another good display at Accrington. He must be wondering what he's done wrong to be on the bench for our reserves! It wouldn't surprise me if Conway requests a transfer again. He always livens things up when he comes on off the bench and he never lets us down. I also felt sorry for Kadeem Harris, he's had a fantastic pre season and he must be wondering what he has to do to break through after being an unused sub at Accrington.
