Personally I think there will be one or two in by Mondays deadline but honestly don't know who, and to be honest it's sometimes better that we don't know until its done. Gutted when I heard earlier that an almost definite had turned into a doubtful within hours. Sometimes though there's nothing anyone can do. As said above, Malky will take care of business. I've no doubt at all

Apparently City were looking at Odemwingie who is not an out and out wide man but who are they likely to get hold of at this late stage in the transfer window? May be struggling to bring in another wide man before the transfer deadline.

As with Wanyama, if he is that good then pay the extra and get the man you want.

Would you pay £60 for trainers if they are £40 in another shop?

I think it's great we are not paying more than we think they are worth. We move onto the next. No Wanyama but we got Medel

Would you prefer Premiership football or Championship football? No brainer !

Signing Montero would no guarantee survival. I'm sure Malky has more players on his radar

5 days and counting ! Transfer window closes. He he going to get the same quality player in by then for a lesser fee? doubt it !

Do you think he only works on 1 player at a time then? There's also the loan window.

cheers, oh well nothing we can do about it now! probably end up coming back to us on the weekend saying they'll take the original offer! anyway if we miss him Malky has found someone better for every target we failed on

There's no loan window in the Premier League

Chelsea may let Christian Atsu go straight out on loan. Maybe we should go for him.

Just saying like as nothings really answered or given in the statement you wrote. Bit of a 'grey' statement really..

Why are some people so petty.... Carl has been kind enough to update the ones of us that want to know and for the ones that speak English it is more black and white than grey!

Goalposts were moved as agent wanted more money after terms were agreed and malky said no come back with the original offer or deal is off... Seems pretty simple to me.... Maybe I'm super smart or something?

Give your opinion on Cardiff & football matters but why post just 2 have a dig at someone else? If you don't believe what Carl says ignore it and read another thread. A lot of us are interested in what Carl has 2 say. As someone said the other day he doesn't give updates expecting a prize if he's right just shares information with other fans!

Re: MONTERO LATEST NEWS

The point i was making is that Carl is no more ITK than any of us. Even a broken clock is right twice a day yeah?? If u throw enough shite eventually some of it will stick and thats what seems to be the case. Make multiple random ITK statements with various names, dates etc then cover ur arse by saying thats what you have heard and the info your source had given you. Nobody said a whisper about the Cornelius deal.. Where was Sceptic Peg then?? I think VTs belt maker in Malaysia is probably more ITK... :ayatollah:

Opinions are welcome.

However there is no need for some responses and they deserve certain resposes back.

By the way Jules that was a shite response.

And a point has been made that if you don't believe Carl or anyone else then just ignore the posting. Just because you believe there are no ITK that doesn't mean that the rest of us do.

Personally I have great faith in the information given. I understand that due to circumstances beyond their control sometimes the information can be out of date almost as soon as it is posted. That is NOT the fault of the messenger and contrary to your view the fact that Carl and others report any changes enhances their credibility in my opinion.

I totally disagree with you. I got up this morning and wanted to know what the latest was on this deal.
I'm grateful to Carl and CityGent sharing their inside information.

And your comments are no more than I expected off you as you seem to have a knack of being a knob, have I read something else here as I cannot see how he has had a dig at Carl,
If he signs, he signs, if not Malky moves on.
Carl stated himself that this deal is very fluid and changing constantly. Hence in this case he does NOT know what is happening.

PS. Yippos other post IS a personal dig which there is no need for so I stand corrected.

Will he sack his agent to join us? He basically stopped him from playing Premier Leage football.

Personally can't wait for September 3rd so we can put the transfer circus to bed for a couple of months and concentrate on the footy :ayatollah:

That's was his second post allegedly....

So you would assume he has other accounts to be able to form an opinion on a certain poster then.

Why do they bother?

Any hope of getting in an experienced full back as Connelly flattered to deceive on sunday? I fear he will be destroyed by Everton & Spurs etc. Hope I am wrong but this is still an area City need looking at.

Why is it the majority of decent threads on this message board get turned into "Carl, Annis or City Gent is wrong again"? It's getting old this online slap fest. I spent most of my life living in Cardiff, moving to the US in '04 I really missed being down the city with the lads.... Between newsnow.co.uk and this forum - I've felt a bit more in touch with home and the banter. But to be honest the constant petty squabbles and the spin to either Blue v Red or the bashing of other members if god forbid "life" gets in the way of a transaction or two will end up destroying this forum. Thank god for Twitter and more importantly NBC for airing every City game live.....
