Your ground?

I think you'll find it belongs to the council.

It's the Ospreys ground, and the Ospreys and council let them use it, not sure if they can afford to pay the rent yet though :laughing6: :laughing6:

It WAS sold out.

Biggest ever attendance at CCS. 7,000 more fans than what Swansea get and an extra 5,000 seats are soon to be added. :D

Anyone can say that annis. The fact you were still selling tickets hours before the game suggests otherwise.

We can say we could have sold a million for our last home game.

Lots have changed since we were last in the championship so a comparison to thise days is futile. We have since moved on to a completely different level with a major trophy under our belt, becoming a top 10 side and competing in european football. You have a lot of catching up to do. Its my genuine belief that if we both had 50,000 stadiums we would have the bigger attendances.

You beat a League Two side in a final of a cup no one cares about unless you reach the semi-final, if it was the FA Cup then fair enough but it wasn't. No better than winning the Championship. Minor trophy.

You were a top 10 side last season, yet you were closer to relegation than to the top 4.

You're competing in the secondary European competition playing teams no one's heard of as you've won a minor trophy, which will most likely hold you back this season.

You're trying to make yourself sound bigger than you actually are. If you think we're light years behind you then you're seriously deluded. Keep looking up.

 we beat holders liverpool and european champions chelsea 2-0 over two legs to earn that final my boy... "No better than winning the championship  thats amazing fair play

Thats because the top 4 are a different gravy. We were 9th because we were the 9th best team, simple.

You're competing in the secondary European competition playing teams no one's heard of as you've won a minor trophy, which will most likely hold you back this season.

 more jealousy? Its a major European trophy and competition which is why teams fight to get into the top 6. If you have never heard of Malmo then you seriously need to read up on football. The group stages follow shortly with giants of European football involved such as Lazio, Valencia, Sevilla etc not to mention the champions league clubs that enter it after the group stages.

You're trying to make yourself sound bigger than you actually are. If you think we're light years behind you then you're seriously deluded. Keep looking up.

Im not trying to do anything, im stating facts and letting them speak for themselves. We are way ahead of you thats clear, just how far in front is down to you. However long it takes you to achieve what we have i guess.

Was a bit concerned about that comment so did a quick google check and it turns out everything I stated is 100% true, we are league cup champions, do compete in europe, did finish 9th and have sold out for years... Phew :laughing6:

What I didnt find however is someone comparing winning the second division to winning the League Cup Trophy

Stunning comment and one of my favourite s ever read on here by some distance :laughing6:

Your recent achievements are good but the reality is that they're not as good as you're making them out to be.

You won a trophy no one cares about unless you reach the semi-final.
You're at the early stages of a European competition, start talking when you reach the last 16.
You finished 9th, well done, but when it comes to the stats you were the best out of the rubbish side of the table.
You sell out the smallest stadium in the Premier League.

But of course you'll keep jumping around it.

certainly do, every home prem game for years now.

theres no jumping around anything. I am stating facts and you dont like it. We are in european competition, beat the reigning holders and european champions on the way to becoming reigning league cup champions and finished in the top 10. Simple really

What a great start to the season. A sell out and we beat the favourites for the league. If we keep that level of commitment and atmosphere all season then we will not need to fear relegation.

Some of us in Row A in the family stand have been moved over the summer. Due to Sky putting in camera dugouts which the Club said would block our view and they were right. Checked out our old seats and slap bang behind a camera.

Re: How did you not sell out?

Tue Aug 27, 2013 7:57 am

Ground holds 27k we sold just over 27k yet this guy claims we didnt sell out, this threads the same as the braindead city fans who say you only had a certain gate at the liberty yet your ground holds no more than what there talking about. never get this one myself unless fans think you put people on the roof

Re: How did you not sell out?

Tue Aug 27, 2013 10:50 am

We sold out, the reason why there was empty seats is because on some regulation that there has to be a little more of a gap, you could call the Cardiff City ticket office now and the message would be the same from last month Manchester City game is sold out, i got told its some stupid regulation otherwise those seats would be full to the brim too

Re: How did you not sell out?

Tue Aug 27, 2013 11:11 am

The jacks are seriously clutching straws here. The game sold out ages ago then the club released an extra 300 tickets a couple of days before the game. They obviously sold because our attendance was over 27k. That's only 5k lower then swanseas all time record crowd. :laughing6:

Re: How did you not sell out?

Tue Aug 27, 2013 11:22 am

This is the 3rd Jack I've seen nit pick about a couple seats. You'll never see every single seat occupied, there'll always be people who can't make it for whatever reason.

They really have nothing better to do and you'd think attendance is the last thing they would have a go at coming from their tinpot stadium and knowing that they'll never have a fanbase of our size.
