Isn't it a shame your rugby ground only holds 20k?

Not really, i live 11,000 miles away, ticket availability doesnt affect me. I get to watch every home match and every away match on foxtel :thumbright:

You must have to turn the tv up to its maximum volume to be able to hear '20,000' fans singing rugby songs.

Funnily enough not as much as i have to turn it up to hear you guys singing your paedophile songs :thumbright:

Touched a nerve did it?

To answer one of the questions of how can players be scared or intimidated by men singing ask Manchester united centre back Rio Ferdinand. A reporter asked are you worried about playing against Leeds and the supporters response on your return? His reply? No I've played at ninian park? That there is your answer

That wasnt men singing - it was men running on the pitch, fighting, spitting and throwing things in an old confined stadium with poor security.

Theres a difference. You are now merely a choir, i dont see players quaking while watching the eisteddfod. Do you?

I think you are the fool by making up what people are saying.

The atmosphere in modern british football boosts the home team, if you think your somgs scare the opposing players then you are thick beyond comprehension :thumbright:

Rio Ferdinand has played everywhere and the only place he brings up is Cardiff.

Because he just watched the game Ian involving his main rivals while conversing on social media  its not his main topic of conversation on a daily basis im sure. :D

He also said he would like to play not that he was scared which surely would be the opposite reaction.

Do one jack. He said in his autobiography that he wasn't scared of Galatasary because he'd been to Ninian Park. And for the tool saying that CCS is not like Ninian, you're right, we can get 10,000 more fans in it hence it was so loud yesterday. This myth that Ninian was scary is bollox. Its the people in it not the building.

We were listening to talksport in the car after the game. Matt Scott said that Cardiff will be the galatasaray of the premier league with that atmosphere.

Lets make it the same again Saturday :ayatollah:

Again, the match at ninian park was not people singing, it was fighting, running on the pitch, spitting and throwing things in a confined poorly secured "stadium".

Jealous over something we have already done? How does that work then?

I didnt say it has no impact did i brainbox? I said it doesnt intimidate anyone, it boosts the home side.

Re: GOD HELP ANY TEAM THAT

I think the atmosphere was so poor last season because we became complacent and expected to win every game.

Now we are the underdog in almost every game.

I am quoting Rio Ferdinand sonny Jim. And in these so called more intimidating atmospheres in Turkey, Russia etc you mentioned, what do they do to intimidate? Tickle you? And there was no fighting at the Leeds game for info. BBC created that shit storm coz Hammam threw one of their journos out of the ground.

And why do you get real and post on a scumsea site?

I've told you why rio said that and yes there was fighting, many many leeds witness statements and journalistic accounts.

They tell you they are going to kill you for one, they throw fireworks on the pitch and dead bloodied bodies of animals at you. Bit scarier then singing "touched by your fathers"

There was no fighting. And if you think there was no singing I can send you a copy of the DVD to refresh your memory.

And do you care to explain why in turkey it's intimidating and when we create a similar atmosphere, you say it's not?

I didnt say there was no singing. I said thats not what was intimidating. The intimidating thing was the lack of player safety, pitch invasions, missile throwing and fighting.

And ive already explained why turkey is still intimidating and to think your is similar is just mind boggling! How many dead animals have been thrown onto the ccs pitch still bleeding? How many times have you chanted in unison about the impending mass murder of the other team? How many times have you guys chanted "theres no way out" for the full 90mins?

You sing about swansea being touched by their fathers :laughing6: im sure van persie will be brought to tears by 24,000 people chanting that :laughing6:

Well it didn't, it was quieter before they scored but once they scored the noise from Cardiff increased exponentially, with quite a few chants aimed at Man City.

The quiet team was Man City who I barely heard all game apart from when they went in the lead for that brief period of time.

Ive answered this already several times. I didnt say there was no singing, im saying that the singing wasnt the intimidating bit. It was lack of player safety, pitch invasions, missile throwing and fighting... And yes there was.

Turkish fans throw bleeding dead animals in the pitch, chant about the impending murder of the opposition and chant such things like "no way out" for the full 90 mins. If you think that compares to 24,000 people singing about swansea getting touched by their father you are indeed off your rocker. Its hardly going to send van persie to his knees :laughing6:

Re: GOD HELP ANY TEAM THAT

Tue Aug 27, 2013 3:25 pm

There wasn't any fighting at the Leeds game. There were missiles thrown between both sets of fans and thats about it apart from some really vicious posturing by both sides. Cardiff games at that time did have a high level of disorder and that was widely known so may have got under the skin of Leeds players, today it is totally different. On the other hand anybody that thinks a visit to Cardiff is more menacing than a trip to Turkey has been living under a f*cking rock for twenty years.
The players at the top five clubs last season are nearly all internationals and have all played in bigger, louder and more hostile grounds during their careers, Man City worried by the crowd at Cardiff? f**k me, in the Chimps league the group was Dortmund, R Madrid and Ajax.
