Because they have 6000 extra seats... Which is the average attendance they were getting less than a decade ago funnily enough

Which is double you were also getting 10 years ago. :laughing6: :laughing6: :laughing6:

Corrected for you.

Pity the sad feckers coming on here today. Any of them with any self-respect would either be staying away or being magnanimous about it.

We beat the Title favourites -in style may I add- and they still haven't got the manners to congratulate us.

They werent title favourites

We beat them when they were title favourites however ;)

Why would we stay away? We have been in the prem long enough to know about these kind of games. We beat arsenal away 2-0, beat them home 3-2, beat man city 1-0 home, beat chelsea 2-0 away, beat liverpool 3-1 away beat them 1-0 home etc etc etc

Nothing new

Hate to correct you but Chelsea and Liverpool were in capital one cup and both fielded weaker teams. You are having a mare roathie. Living the anger! I'm lieing on my sickbed and you are making me feel better. As they say laughter is the best medicine!

Dragging up cup games now. When sides had their 2nd teams out

Enough newspaper reports claiming City were favourites for the title this morning. I should know, I've read them all.

I wouldn't expect anything other than for you to behave like a spoilt kid who's just found out next doors little boy has got a new toy.

History who gives a feck, you finished last season losing, and you've started this season losing despite having more competitive games early due to Europa. You needed a good start as you are sure to fade when the travel catches up on you later this season........

This week you will have to travel to Europe and then travel away to WBA on Sunday, this extra travel will take it's toll, you wait and see.......

Could have sold another 10000 yesterday, as well. That's why we are putting in more seats to take capacity to 33000 for next year.

By the way on a serious point can any sensible Jack answer me what happened to their expansion. I thought their ground was going to 22k+ for this season, yet its still shown as 20700 - only 200 more than last year ?[/quote]

The reportw as Liverpool - they were 8th in the league, meaningless last game of the season - no comparison.

And that Chelsea game WAS a cup game. We beat them in the Cup when we were in division 4. FFS they even had a Cardiff reject in goal (Turnbull - as you probably hadn't heard of football when he was with us)

Scraping the barrel.

Oh so you have changed it a bit? Best supported or more fans at the games?

Attendance has no baring on best supported but has everything to do with how many are inside, obviously. Im a swansea supporter but live in queensland so obviously wasnt at the man utd game so to only count how many are there to determine your support especially when no more can fit in is a little silly.

Re: 27,000 +

http://www.football-league.co.uk/page/D ... 97,00.html

If you look at the average attendances for 2009/10 when both Cardiff and Swansea were both in the Championship you can see CCFC had an average attendance of 20717 and Swansea 15407.

So basically in that season we would have sold out the Liberty with our average attendance whilst SCFC never did it once (highest 18794 vs. C Palace) despite 23 home games.

http://www.football-league.co.uk/page/D ... 07,00.html

This wasn't a one off either as in the 2010/11 season (the season SCFC were promoted) CCFC had an average attendance of 23193 whilst SCFC only saw an increase of 100 fans to 15507

The Jacks can't use the excuse that CCS has more seats than the Liberty because even if both teams had 26k seat stadiums the Jacks simply wouldn't have filled them. It is conclusive proof that Cardiff are the much better supported team, even if the statement about 'twitter' is true :laughing5:
