Human nature. I also arrived late and there were only a few left and I scrabbled to get one of the few that were left. They were free and whatever you think of the rebrand they are now part of our history, if NOT tradition (my opinion only)

I have never worn it since but it is filed away with all sorts of other Cardiff City related souvenir's

Part of our history and tradition my arse. Tony you might have earned our repect if you had just not taken the scarf but I suppose for you its like having that cream cake when you know you should be on that diet.

Check-mate to you I'm afraid I could never turn down a FREE cream cake ;)

I think the theory goes it drove 600 fans into forming Bluebirds Unite.

Thats the relevant point i was making Tony. I also got one that night, for one reason & one reason only, that my son wanted one, who lives four hundred miles away.

The things we do for our kids, eh!

Yes the things we do for our kids eh, like showing them that morals, traditions and pride count for nothing so what a great lesson to instill in your children.

Great idea! Then we'll look like we're supporting Manchester City! We'd be a laughing stock across the world.

Altogether now " . . . We are the self-flagellation society, the self-flagellation society."

Showing your kids morals is quite an important lesson to teach. Teaching them morally right from wrong will set their moral compass but failure to do so will result in a more chavy attitude and most probably a slot on the Jeremy Kyle show.
I take your point about morals and traditions not being the same thing but in your case you have managed to ignore both.

More bullshit from the resident bullshitter. We should be as one in supporting the team to try and get a result against Man City, but as usual this poster is just stirring the shit in his usual way and putting the emphasis on negatives a day before our home dubut in the League.

If they appear on the Jeremy Kyle show sometime in the future and you ask yourself "how on earth did this happen" then remember this conversation. :ayatollah:

I don't think it has anything to do with the so-called rebrand. I think it is more likely a 'welcome' gesture for Gary Medel on his home debut! ;)

Lets all be honest, Our Club Cardiff City week in week out is now losing its our identity, we may as well be Malaysia FC , soon there will be nothing left. A Red team, a Red club, a Red stadium and next Cardiff Dragons and Gwyn will say at least we have a club, have we really? ??

You should never bring up how someone brings up their child, it's their personal life, this is going to far.

Maybe they're having sky blue flags or banners while we have red ones?

If this continues
Tan may as well close Cardiff City and call us Malaysia FC
And Gwyn will have an washer to that as well, or thinks he does.

For me, this is the biggest disappointment & anger i have, that going into our first Premiership home game, for 52 years, our fan base is divided to such an extent. All together as one? I fear we have lost before we even kick a ball.

Does he really care what the fan in the street wants - red or blue !?! Tan only cares about what Tan wants surely , & if that pleases 95% , 5% or 50% of the fans as a by-product so be it ! We all want success , the issue is the price the fans are prepared to pay for that on-field success !

Hypothetical next , had we not gone up after last season then I imagine there wudda been a lot more active pro-blue sentiment currently , if we're down ( heaven forbid ! ) in May I imagine many " fans " will desert the club leaving the more established fans, whether they are red or blue for whatever reason , contemplating the next step !

Rick, all we have on this thread is rumour and no facts, its the usual suspects stirring things up for their own reasons. The last couple of weeks has seen the red goal nets rumour, the bluebird being red on the badge in front of the stadium rumour,I think we can see none of this actually happened, its easy for people to throw out these shit rumours and then they are forgotten about some time later.
