They'll go to friends and family who are at the right category as my tickets.

No loss, no spite you funny little bugger.

You are going to lose out on the credit though so it is your loss yes financially. Its simple maths mate. If you'd rather give your tickets away than earn credit to save yourself money then thats bonkers.

Don't buy a season ticket to make money or gain tiny credits. In years gone by they were bought to guarantee access to big games like cups and play offs. It used to be madness on here when fans (or plastics) were trying to get Cup tickets. Now it seems all games are big so happy days.

The thanks of friends is worth a hell of a lot more than the pennies the club would give you anyway.

I wonder what will happen in the family stand.

I have 2 kids ticket and my adult. What happens if one of them is unable to attend ? Last season I upgraded a kids ticket to an adult for my father in law. This season I must sell it back to the club, but who can buy the spare ? Don't forget there is no admittance to adults without kids and the same for kids without adults.

How much do I get 50% credit for ? £50/20 =£2.50, for £1.25 I prefer the extra legroom.

That's all well and good but then no doubt the club will look at the stats and see the empty seats and massively increase the kids tickets once the price freeze is over, then people will moan about that.
Club can't really win....

last season one of my kids didn't make 3 games but for 2 games I paid for their granddad to attend with us, so the seat wasn't empty and the club made about £30. This season that is impossible and the seat will go empty because no one will qualify to gain entry as the rules for the stand states no adults without kids or vice versa. I am not going to buy a membership on the off chance that one of my kids can't attend. I was just wondering how this is going to work

I dont know but I'd think the buy back is more for the 3 other stands.
But the more the family stand is empty the more they will push up prices when the price freeze is over.

, policy is gold members get 1st chance of resale tickets! Nothing wrong In that , why should two stranger's get tickets ahead of them? Technically club haven't lost any money as seats already paid for? Upgrade amount is minor so not a lot lost.

Not true mate...it cost me £25 to upgrade for Bolton last season....I wouldn't call that minor.

Why can't you just sell your ticket back to the club and they hold it for say 1 hour for someone you know with a gold membership and a reference number to purchase it? Also, there's not even a system in place to sell your ticket back to the club yet - I called the ticket office last week to sell a seat back but they said the system wasn't set up yet

Exactly, like the ticket I've acquired for Sunday, free of charge no fuss, f**k the gold and silver members, plus if we're 2 down at half time, it will be back to the pub, as normal :laughing6:

I have a spare adult ticket and im taking my mate on it. I'd rather give it to him then have some randomer sit next to me who could do damage to the seat if aggresive

Im same situation,, My son aged 18 cant make it so have a friend who wanted to go. but the club will not allow as he hasnt paid for gold membership.. Im afraid season ticket holders have no rights and also treated badly considering we put our money up front with season ticket fees....

Money money money come to mind abba..............

Im loosing it with ccfc .... poor customer care to loyal season ticket holders

This situation where the club are not allowing upgrades in the family stand is really disappointing. It would be so easy to manage this to ensure that it is not abused and in the same breadth make some money.

More importantly we need a capacity crowd at all games and not allowing the upgrades will only mean empty seats - which is completely unacceptable. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :old:
