I couldn't disagree more with the OP - once in a while under DJ, we played some tidy football. However, we played just as much hoofball at times (especially with Bothroyd who was shite in the air anyway), we rarely fought back when a goal or two down, and we generally had trouble putting away the worst sides (Bristol, Peterborough etc) in the Championship - and this is probably what cost us promotion a few times.

On top of that, he had a very cold approach to the fans and the media, and nothing was ever his fault.

Yes, he took us as far as he could, but I'd never have him back. There's no chance VT would bring him back after sacking him, anyway...
