Big Blue Flag Sunday

It was I that had the big flag last season as a protest hoping to get our rightful colours back (somehow).

It shocked me to see how little people cared. One (gentleman) even said 'you can shove that blue flag up your arse'.

After this I felt I had to give up on the city as the passion of the fans was one of the reasons why I fell in love with the club. This was destroyed after the rebrand took place, and it was obvious to see all that mattered was Premiership football at any cost. This was not my view.

Any way, at the pitch invasion at the Charlton game we took it on the pitch with us to try and get it towards the directors box. People wern't bothering with it and it was flopping all over the place. People were then pulling at it and tugging it, and in slow motion I see the flag rip in half!

Disappointing to say but it really gets to me how little anyone did anything to stop the rebrand last season, I also took a banner at the first game of the season saying 'WE BLEED BLUE', this got taken down. Me and my mate also brought about 50 balloons in the Canton with us one game to try and get people to do more... but nothing.

Why is it only now we are in the Premiership people are bothering to protest about it?

Unfortunatly, I've walked away from the club now. Until we return to Blue of course.

Don't worry mate, loads of us in the same predicament as you. It embarrases me how little some fans care. Each to their I suppose, but it's when they try and shoot down the 'pro blues' that I get riled.

It was left in two pieces on the pitch. Tan probably set it alight when everyone had gone.

I'll be there for the march! Will just watch each game as a neutral all season in the pub now. No where near the same amount of passion as I once had for the club.

I didn't hear it get booed at west ham, loads singing it

To be honest where I was sitting at West Ham "we'll always be blue" died out very quickly.

I didn't go to West Ham (I tend to go to 6-7 aways a year) but I don't think it naturally was the game for it, especially once we went a goal down.

We'll always be Blue last season was a celebration song really, and West Ham wasn't a game for that.

I've no doubt it will be a very popular chant this season.

This I can guarantee will be booming out from The Canton and unless I'm mistaken, has anyone heard any pro red songs being sung yet, a full year after the rebrand and not even one !
