This is why I created an alternative Chuckles. Better to have these people support a cause that is going for similar goals but using a different method than for them to be branded sellouts and pro reds which pushes them further away just because they don't want to join Bluebirds Unite.

Fair enough and good luck with your efforts I just find it a waste of time.

I think what would be a better use of time would be to offer support to Bluebirds Unite who already have a substantial amount of support. If you feel that you have idea's on how to improve Bluebirds Unite or believe they are doing things wrong. Then why not offer your support rather than starting a whole new group.

As I said, I went on there directly and said exactly what I've just said & I was told by some members where to go. I've got to admit that since then I've felt more alienated.

The main core of BU have exactly the same feelings as I do & I know BU don't want people to post that stuff.. But it needs to either be mod approved posting, admin only posting or more moderators cleaning up the crap.

I really hope they choose to do this.

Thanks for your good luck message and some will think its a waste of time with a similar group out there but I see it as offering an alternative to those who do not want to join Bluebirds Unite but want to support something.

We want to try a different approach mostly and will try our best to achieve our goals with a different approach and an approach we think will work better. I also feel that because of the damage a minority of people have done to Bluebirds Unite that there are already fans out there who have it fixed in their minds that they will not get behind Bluebirds Unite.

Annis has made it known that he will wear blue all season as his protest to show Tan and that others should do the same but we would love to bring about similar ideas but with card displays that can be given out but of course there are numerous considerations that need to be taken into account before planning anything. No point diving into things without thinking everything through as that only leaves you open for attack.

Yeah course you do. Connections from your Serie A coaching days eh?

Youre a poor mans Roathie, Barney. When he slips into charachter he keeps the lies consistent.

Earlier on you admitted you didnt have a job and as a student you couldnt afford to go to the games but you caught every game by live stream. Now youre a getting comps for level 4 off a player

Its easier to tell you that so you be quiet and I can get on with my life in peace. I know the system, tell them what they want to hear and then just get on with things.

Oh well, you've got the truth now and I can have it verified quite easily if needs be that i get my tickets from a player.

Cheers Annis. I admit I rarely travel away but I get comps for home games and I sit where I have to sit depending on where the ticket is allocated. Been level 4 a few times, other times scattered around the ground, its free so I got to take what im given and very fortunate of that.

I only ever really go away for good days out on the spur of the moment and away games near my birthday and so on.

Agree with this, there are quite a few idiots on there who are meant to be supporting what BU is trying to do but if anything they're making it even harder for themselves.

Barnett what are you plans overall to be able to get communication with the club and pesuade them to at least change the badge at first? I do agree we need a middle ground first before moving on to a larger issue :ayatollah:

1. Establish written communication with the club
2. Hopefully understand where we are with them and what their aims are in terms of brand
3. Aim for a new badge for the 2014/2015 season that is modernised and professional for the international stage
4. Provide designs for the badge and explain to them respectfully why we think they are better for our brand here, America and in Asia
5. Use that as a way of increasing the relationship between fans and the club
6. Move on from there

Im not going much further ahead than that at the moment as if you do too much at once you trip yourself up and make mistakes that will only come back to bite you. Slow and steady wins the race and we got a whole season of at least a red kit now and that badge as its registered with the league.

Agree ! If we do nothing then we might as well wear red !

Ideally , we shoud have been organising our opposition to the rebrand alongside our appreciation of Tan's positive contributions months ago but better late than .........

If we don't make a stand then I shudder to think where we'll end up , if Tan can change the kit colour & the badge theres no doubt the name will be next , after that who knows !?!

For me BU offers the best chance of making Tan FULLY AWARE that there are sufficient numbers to whom the colour/badge/name etc really do matter ! UNITED WE STAND DIVIDED WE FALL - classic ! We might not make any difference to his thinking , BUT we certainly will not if we sit quietly on our red seats & say nothing ! We ( those who oppose the rebrand ) need to work together on this , that way we've a louder voice ! ATTEND THE CELEBRATION next SUNDAY , CASTLE 2 pm , after all we've got nothing to lose !!!!! Well actually we've gotta hell of a lot to lose - it's called identity ! CARDIFF KOMODOS - no thanks !! CTID

The current badge i'm sure most of us agree does not show Cardiff City FC in the best light at all.

I believe another group that supports a return and gets more fans onside is surely better than leaving these fans feel as outcasts and alienated if they do not feel as if they can pledge support to the current groups on offer. i.e. Bluebirds Unite. I am not wishing to compete with Bluebirds Unite at all and they can get on with things peacefully in their own right.

This is an online campaign mainly with possible flag donations to get a voice within the stadium as well and to bring together clever ideas that support the groups overall aim. Badge designs, flag designs and as someone with an interest in Photoshop myself I will of course get involved with others so hopefully those with an artistic nature get involved also.

The website also has a blog section ready for members to add their opinion on the rebrand and give their opinion without having to face the backlash that might ensue if they air their views elsewhere. Please remember that if you do become a member that your views are reflected on the group as a whole and anything deemed offensive in any way will not be tolerated as the group tries to maintain a professional image.

The current site is my blog converted and can be found at: http://aviewfromabluebird.wordpress.com/

The Twitter page for the group is already set up and the official domain is in the process of propagation and will point towards the blog once it has completed so it will also have an official and professional URL.

I am funding the domain entirely myself and on a non profit basis. If we decide to create a fund later ALL MONEY collected will go back into purchasing flags or putting down an order for blue scarfs or cards to be taken into the stadium.

We hope you at least take a look at our aims on the website even if you then decide to not get involved.

Sorry but I think you have little chance to get your aims, however if you can keep your people in check, unlike BU, you might get some following. BU is slowly losing the plot. their leader seams to be more focus on getting her picture in the paper than anything CCFC.

Good luck to getting BU stopped.

Good. Its going to take time mate and Rome wasn't built in a day.

I've spoke to Annis today and have told him after seeing Hull City Tigers there in front of me reality sank in and there it was, a nickname right in the name, and I think that is wrong and I can only fear the same happening to us after Tan praising their owner.

If you're on Twitter then drop a message by @theninianstand and we can get you involved if you seriously are interested and we'll slowly work our way up properly and establish ourselves properly in a manner which can be respected not only by the club but the media as well.

I'll be setting up the forum tomorrow most likely and getting more things moving.

We can only try mate. We will keep in check by moderating, working as a cohesive unit and by banning those that step out of line and bring our cause into disrepute and/or alienate the fan base.

This ain't nothing to do with me personally and I just want to stop a potential name change, get a more modernised badge that the fans can be proud of to see displayed on Sky Sports, NBC and on the kit that they wear and pay good money for mate and then later down the line after some progress hopefully a return to our traditional colours and we can only do that by slow and steady steps and walking before we run.

100% serious mate about it and going to use my knowledge of web design and photoshop etc. to get it done properly. I know as well if we have to fundraise that the best way to do it is using a transparent fundraising site so people can see where the money is gone. I would not invest in something where I could not see where the money was going myself so its only right to respect other people in the same fashion.

I have a few ideas up my sleeve and once I get a few members sorted with committed ideas and wanting to work on it then we can get the ball rolling properly. Patience is a virtue and one we must respect to hopefully attain our goals.

Dear oh dear oh dear hes got you all believing his Walter Mitty lies again. :laughing5:

Comps my arse, he watches the games via stream by his own admission several times, and even if he did have them he wouldnt even pay the train fare down from Aber, which makes his "im a student, im skint" excuse even worse if all he needed was a train ticket. :laughing5:

The very fact he says he has to sit several different places in the stadium is a load of crap, I had comps for 4 years when my cousin played for the City and family and friends have a specific area of the ground.

Anyway, crack on with this Walter Mitty group, hes been antagonising the supporters of blue for a while now, only yesterday he was setting up "Red Army" A wind up maybe but he said he wanted to be taken seriously and wasnt a WUM anymore. Hmmmmm.

Dear lord.

I dont pay the train fare, you are correct, I drive Polo. Its a nice little Ford Fiesta, keep a look out for it. I tell you what you want to hear most of the time. It means I don''t have to argue with you and I can browse the forum in peace. I have put up my tickets on this forum numerous times. Not at all. I get my tickets from a player and the tickets vary depending on the game. Sometimes I get them for Level 4, sometimes they are the community tickets and im in the family stand. Other times I've been in the grandstand sat right by the players family and friends. They're very nice people by the way. The players get allocated a certain amount of tickets and as I ain't family I come second in the tickets I get allocated which is fine by me. :thumbright:

You ask me to mature and be myself so I do exactly what is asked of me and you continue to try and drag me back down into arguments. Well its not happening sorry Polo. Enjoy the rest of your day.

:ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I do care but would not go mad about it. Of course I wouldn't want the name changed and I didn't want the kit colour or badge changed either to be perfectly honest and I will be fighting to get the badge changed so that the club at least looks professional and has a design the fans want.
