They've got some top quality players, and I agree I think they'll be very strong this year.

The irony is, since their promotion from the Championship, if you take out Andy Carroll who didn't play yesterday - you have spent nearly TWICE as much as they spent in their two seasons at this level combined!

lets not forget that's on top of a championship winning squad where as West Ham went up via play-offs.

IF you think they have a better squad then surely Malky has spent incredibly poorly considering he spent twice as much?

Did you take Cornelius Brayford and Moore out of your calculations. As they didn't play yesterday.

No because none of them are guaranteed to start if fit.

its not at all. Its like counting Etien Velikonja, if he isn't in the plans then theres no point.

But if you want me o add them the point remains. you went up as Champs, they went up in 3rd and you have still spent more ontop in a few months than their 2 seasons yet you all are saying they are better.

 Roathie takes a player out of the equation because he didn't play, yet doesn't do the same for Cardiff..

Just showed that your biased crap on here is just that, total nonsense.

No, took a player out because he is a starter that is unavailable. Malky reported a fully fit squad yet didn't play those players I left out.

However if you want them in, you still spent more so the point stands

He also said that he didn't play Cornelius because he had only just returned to training. No doubt he would have played otherwise.

Your bias is showing through now Roath.

I think you need to do some greater research. I'll give you a few mins to do this. Then I'll except your apology for getting your figures oh so wrong.

Goals aside we can take a lot of positives against West Ham. They are a very organised, well balanced team and nobody outside the top 7 last season couldn't manage to take 3 points from them! I think we could of sneaked a draw if Cornelius, Brayford, Hudson & Taylor were playing yesterday afternoon. Considering we were playing away from home we had more possession of the ball & our passing accuracy was a lot better than theirs. Tough game now next week against Man City a draw against them would feel like a win!
Declan John - Thrown into the deep end due to Taylor suspended and handled it very well for a 18 year kid, He has so much potential and a player who will attract a lot of interest from bigger clubs.
Matt Connolly - Did not impress me at all, Surely Hudson will replace him when Brayford is fit?
Craig Bellamy - Poor, poor game for his standards looks off the pace and moaned a lot.

I was impressed with Gary Medel, Whittingham & Caulker. Considering Medel hardly knows the squad/players he was immense and can only get better when he understands and links up with the other players. :ayatollah:

Glad to see comments like this, shouldn't be doom and gloom from day one, we need to believe in our team, a few tweaks here and there then such as bringing in a few more players.
