no Barry, you didn't. laughing smiley.

Yes we lost there in a very tight an winnable encounter that was end to end with both having great scoring opportunities. your match was never winnable as you were never in it. simple.

I feel that we have a lot to worry about when we play Utd if RVP is on this kind of form!

make my mind up? ok it seems like you had 1  but none that troubled the keeper.

If you only had one shot then how is it winnable when the opponent scored 2?

we had more than 1 shot Roathie , I'm surprised you have lasted this long on here today wont be long now :happy1:

The only stat that counts, goals.

You don't get goals if you cant hit the target, so that stat is pretty vital too

unless you rely on own goals that is. risky tactic though id suggest.

Didn't say it was vital, said it was the only one that counted.

Which is fact.

When deciphering performance its often not the case actually. Clear cut chances and chances conceded are often far more vital pieces of information than goals scored when looking at performance (which we are). If you looked at goals only it would seem we played awfully yesterday when in fact we played very well indeed, they were just deadly.

But yes its the only stat that counts in terms of the table, but that's not what we are discussing.

Re: FAO Milky Joe

GOALS SCORED ARE THE ONLY STATS THAT COUNT. :laughing5:

oh we have gone into nonsense again.

We are deciphering performance not the table, so no, its not.

Are you seriously trying to claim that goals scored is not the only stat that counts at the end of a game?

Indeed, it was a finishing masterclass. that's what happens when you play the Champions.

Europa home then Sunday away to Spurs, difficult then Europa away, then WBA away......
WBA is winnable but with the tiredness and a couple of injuries, could be tricky.....

"Winnable" game, that's why Swansea haven't done it yet.

Games against the top 4 are largely irrelevant. its the games against the other clubs that count. Man Utd are top 4 (champions actually) hence the result doesn't matter, QPR was a winnable game so it was very important and we ran out 4-0 winners.

We have played West Ham twice in the Premier League and won 3-0 and lost 1-0, both games were very winnable. judging from your game yesterday you didn't look capable of a draw even. that's the concern.

are you sure about that?

West Brom should be winnable, but with Europa on the Thursdays will make it harder for you, maybe you will have zero points after three games, one of them winnable???

What would that do for you confidence, last season you had a good start, how would you react to a bad one???

West Brom will be winnable. We have 2 starting 11 teams now in preparation for both competitions.

Vorm - Tremmel

Rangel/Taylor/Davies
Williams/Amat
Chico/Monk

Dyer/Hernandez/Routledge/Lamah
Britton/Canas
Shelvey/De Guzman
Michu/Ki/Pozuelo

Bony/Michu

We had a bad start in the first season and recovered well as our starting 11 was excellent and always gave winnable games a run for their money.

The 2nd team is shit thats why they are subs, if you are relying on Monk and alike to save you, your in trouble :laughing6:

Your mate reckons he's the answer when you are tired after Europa games, he seems to think you have a squad like Manu and Chelsea and can field completely different teams for different games

He's not my mate he's a mentalcase , we have a decent squad at the moment and will not need monk to "save" us in fact monk in my opinion will only play in cup games as fourth choice CB if then
