When the debt to shares happens will this reduce the value of the shares?

Do you mean the 10% of shares that he won't have if he ends up with 90% of the club?

No I mean all of them.

I mean how £100 millon be converted into shares when the assets don't come even close to that. The only way I see is devaluing the share.

I think the answer to your question is he may float the club in the not too distant future.A debt free club with top players pushing for a european place and good facilities to match would certainly command an excellent share price.

Yep and the worse thing about was this was the biggest factor to why so many city fans let the rebrand happen without fuss as it was the main promise of the package offered for the rebrand imo, sam was payed weeks and weeks ago so whats going on as we was all told it was the only thing holding it up

Honestly some people think that to completely buy out all the shareholders is only a matter of saying, right I will buy your shares, how much? here you go, here is a cheque, and when all the shares are bought, then there is the little matter of debt to equity, anything to have a go, why don't you shut up until either it is done or is not done, and if it does turn out that it does not happen, then I will be the first in line to have a go at VT

Why should people shut up?

If it was announced that it would be done in a certain time then when that time comes and nothing well people have the right to question why not.

Answer me this, when will you decide to be the first in line, another years time when we are no further down the line or when Tan has puled the plug on us without the debt to equity happening?

Totally with you Ian, why should we shut up, it's a Free country and we are allowed our opinions and beliefs, Tan can not be trusted and has divided our club.

It's like buying a nuclear bomb shelter in case someone drops a bomb, people are kicking up a fuss over something that may never happen IE: not converting debt to equity, converting is not an exact science two months if everything goes to plan was only ever an estimated time, if it is not done by the end of the year, that is the time that I would be concerned, but certainly not now

Why not? There is no sign of a board meeting to vote for the share to equity.

He said in around 2 months, the article was from mid-August and now it's just over 2 months. Not 4 as '77 says .

He also said he needs to sort the other shareholders first which we KNOW has been happening as that has been widely reported from the people involved.

Surely it's fair to expect that this might take a little longer than originally expected, it involves legal processes which we all know don't always run smoothly. If nothing has happened by Christmas then I'd say we have something to worry about, because no doubt about it - THIS is a really important issue for the club.

Tim

The process is happening as existing shareholders have had initial deposits paid on their shares with the rest being paid in November
