When will people start turning up?

At Wales rugby games you will get people from Mid-Wales, North Wales to come down, here you get a few but not enough, it's always South Wales based fans, the lesser friendlies could be played up in North Wales to try and gain fans from there. Think of the travelling North Wales fans have to do just to get there. Even the Scottish FA can draw big crowds and Scottish football seems in tatters. A major over haul is needed, Dragon Park(Newport) was just an example of the FAW trying to appease the fans. It's not working, lower the ticket prices, don't screw over local clubs for fans who don't support the top two professional clubs, market one of the best players in the World right now and advertise the games better. WRU manage to do it fine

Agree that the FAW are a shambles! but Wales is still my country and I will be there every game to support my country and EVERY player who puts on the Welsh shirt and represents my country, I personally don't mind Williams as captain, the passion he shows every game is great, much better than some players who are welsh, like Giggs, took him 7 years after getting his 1st cap to play in a friendly!! End of the day, we should all support our nation no matter what, i'm proud to be welsh and will show i'm proud to be welsh by attending games, whether they are friendlies or not

Wales need a "feel good factor" in order to appeal to the mass Welsh audience, & only competitive & positive results on the pitch will help this. Mike Smith, Mike England, Terry Yorath, & Mark Hughes all came close to getting Welsh football on the World stage, & the crowds responded in numbers at those times.

I also think that Gary Speed was on the verge of achieving good thing with Wales, tragically it was not to be.

Chris Coleman is on a hiding to nothing as Welsh boss, & its going to take a lot of time, & heart ache to push on from here, both on & off the pitch, & it start at the very top, as far as I'm concerned!

The irony is the welshman who was captain pulled out of the squad yesterday but will be fit to play Arsenal whereas the Englishman played a blinder and had the MOTM. I'll judge our captains on how they perform on the pitch rather than where they were born.

Your right Polo, but at the end of the day, in order to appeal to the masses, you have to have an end product of something worth while, & with Swansea, Cardiff & Newport FC's doing well lately, only the die hards will attended current Welsh football games, like last night. I fear that the perception of Wales football at the moment is one of at best, non belief, &, at worst, one of apathy.
